Its not necessarily mental. The scouting reports have caught up to him.

It's pretty easy.

On defense, you can put a smaller guy on him and he either can't take advantage or the Knicks won't give him the ball.

On offense, you can pump fake him into fouling pretty easily or draw him out with stretch 4s and the many switches the Knicks give up.
