Harden + Love + Dantoni

PnR Hard Love ...Imagine the 3 point shots by Love, the pick and roll smooth action

I'd be happy with Crowder and a first round pick.

If we're rebuilding Noah's contract doesn't matter. You have to pay somebody, and Noah is a good vet to teach our young guys. Plus his contract ends right when we'd have to pay KP.

Anything we can get from Boston is better than what we can get from the Clippers or from Cleveland. I really wish Boston wants him more than the other two teams.

Wait until all teams have to worry about is him and let's see how he develops out there. I have faith and I could care less about the losing but, if you think my original post was about our record you're missing the point...

melo took a lot of heat off the boy. very true.

It's in Boston's best interest to get Anthony. Just the threat of the Cavs being able to get Anthony should spur the Celtics into action.

The new CBA made cap space far less valuable than it used to be. Who are they going to sign this summer who is better than Melo? Hayward? I think that is a bit overstated, simply because Stevens is the coach. He seems pretty happy in Utah and he can get paid way more there. Not only would they have Melo this year, but next, and potentially a few more years after that. To me the issue with the Celtics has always been Melo's seeming unwillingness to go there, not the other way around.

good point. melo is a win-now piece. free agency is going to be harder than ever to dislodge big-time players.

That and it's not like Boston's top guys are 22 year olds. Sure, Crowder is only 26, but Horford is 30, Thomas 27. They have these assets like picks and Brown/Smart to hopefully trade for a superstar. Not sure if they will find anyone better than Melo this summer.

love melo. respect his commitment to the franchise.

if he waived his NTC and the knicks got that #1 back... i'd personally drive him, not to the airport, but to boston.

id even walk him there :D

Johnny Hoops wrote:I don't see Cavs/Boston working together in this instance -- could you imagine being the Cavs GM and you get upset by Boston team with Love playing a key role in the playoff upset.

I see this being NY/Cleveland focused deal -- potentially with another team not named Boston/Toronto added to get Cav's comfortable with their return.

I guess it could be NY/Boston direct but I wouldn't mind us getting Love as an asset and being able to move him later this summer if we wanted.

love has years left on that deal. i'm good.

the general board is terrible. They're trying to say Crawford/JJ for Melo is a fair deal lmfao.

Clippers. They are probably going to lose CP3 if they don't contend now. So they have to make the best of his tenure there.

True, and just to add: Even if we were gonna trade with the Clippers, we wouldn't be able to take on Blake unless we trade away Rose since we can't have two "Derrick Rose" contracts on the team.
