i think this is the perfect deal for the pistons tbh. ish and rondo will have our offense moving MUCH more efficiently plus they both will be looking and involving dre much better. our offensive pace will shoot up. most importantly, i want a guy with rondos mindset on the roster. my ultimate hope is that his tough demanding demeanor will rub off on the rest of the guys (NAMELY DRUMMOND). this the only trade i want right now

Rondo is a cancer, but at least his contract for 2017-18 is guaranteed for just $3M until 6/30/17

look, we pay dre over 120m and theres nights hes only getting 9 shot attempts for the game. WHOS FAULT IS THAT? REGGIE JACKSON. KCP was playing to his fullest potential and evolving as a player until... reggie jackson starts again. Im not with the bs anymore. this guy literally just pounds the ball on the floor waiting for a pick which he wont use aggressively. we need to wake up and call out reggie for what he is. a scoring guard who struggles to score the ball despite always having the ball in his hands. drummond at his wost is still going to shoot 55% but rather than involve him more, we keep letting the likes of reggie and mook do and take whatever they want on offense.

and dont get me started with mook lmao. guy puts up danilo gallanari like numbers playing damien lillard minutes.

we lack passing, we lack defense, we lack a leader,. rondo can answer all those things. all those problems he had in sacramento and chicago i dont think would happen in detroit because he'll have a better team, coach around him and play for a organization in detroit which is MUCH MUCH more transparent that sac or chitown.

if kcp, mook, leaur/harris, and dre are all starting, whoever is running point guard needs to be able to get All of these guys the ball on a consistent basis. in terms of "mold", we need our pg to be whats considered a "true" point guard. now as far as what "true" pg are out there and available, its between rubio and rondo and i want rondo by a long shot. you guys are only weighing the negative and not factoring in the positive. imagine rondo and drummond pick and rolls. can you guys imagine our perimeter defense with kcp and rondo(add johnsons defense at sf once his offense picks up).

if you watch the pistons bulls highlights above, notice how at the 2:25 mark when reggie tosses up a 3, the announcer says " thats about as good of a shot as they've been able to get".

Rondo isn't playing because he has a problem with authority and effort. Those are things that would clash with SVG.

Rondo has been AWFUL on D his last years in Celtics, Mavs, Kings and Bulls. And he's a cancer and a bad influence for our youngs. C'mon guys, Reggie is the f* Gary Payton compared with Rondo. He's on Harden levels. I like SVG but Carlisle is a Top-5 coach ever and he was done with Rondo.

I'm not so sure I want a point guard who is going to get Dre more shots. His post game is below average and he should stick to being a hustle player first and iso-post scorer secondary.

Rondo is terrible there is nothing that would ever convince me that he would be a good player to have on your team. People are just looking for trades just to do a trade, I'm glad some on here aren't the gm of the team.

Isn't there a trade thread for this stuff? 1) this trade isn't happening. 2) Rondo can't play basketball anymore.

And yet all that being said, I'm about ready to move Jackson for anybody. Problem is SVG isn't and I'm sure he's been told to have the best team possible for the new arena.
