Hmm, he's only been out of the league since 2015. Seems like it was longer. But he's 28 and who knows what kind of shape he's in.

How much over the minimum would he command?

If he's willing to take the minimum on a 1-year prove it deal, I'm sure several teams would try him out but hard to integrate him into a team in the middle of the season.

I am sure we are looking into this. If he's in any sort of shape and we can land him, man oh man...

I think they will as well. If not for the fact that they supposedly talked earlier about his comeback.

If any team can straighten him out, it's this Warrior team. If he's serious, is in decent shape, and ready to work, they should definitely take a look at him. I think its worth exploring. And if he's ready, we are stacked!
But until I see it for myself, its 50/50: he wants to come back and is ready vs. he just needs some weed money.

I don't think Sanders helps us at this point. If we could have had him in for training camp and first part of the season, sure. But at this point, if we're adding anyone they gotta be ready to roll right out of the gate. Someone who has been out of the league for a few years... i have serious doubts on. Doesn't hurt to kick the tires, but i'd rather pickup a vet who gets bought out in a month or so that has been playing ball more recently.

Warriors have to replace McAdoo with either a 3rd big (Benson, Eric Moreland etc) or a guard who can get his own shot. I like Briante Weber, but he's really small and not a great shooter.. so I dont know if he'll stick. I assume they are waiting to see who's moved and who is available before the trade deadline.

I think it's more likely they're waiting to see who's bought out after the deadline. We have no assets with value that we are willing to part with in a trade.

Is Greg Oden looking to make a come-back again? If so, and if he's in better shape, should we sign him up?

Emeka Okafor and Greg Oden haven't played professional basketball in years. Okafor is 34 years old and left basketball because of a herniated disk in his neck. What makes you think he'd be able to play basketball at a high level and why would you waste a roster spot on old, physically deteriorated players?

Between this, your previous suggestions of the Warriors chasing Josh Smith, trying to get Kobe to come off the bench for his last season, part of me wonders if you miss the dark ages of the Cohan era.

Would Oden's Social Security Income count against the salary cap?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Thinking of buying tickets to Matt Barnes Island.

Honestly he would be great for our bench. Big time upgrade on McAdoo for sure.

We've seen progress for McAdoo and Clark. Weber may not outshoot Clark but is likely a better assist + defense guy.. nice upside.

i EXPECT we retain most of our top 10-12 guys.. so...any opportunity for WHOEVER is unlikely to be major? Sanders? Right NOW?
What's Sanders EXPECTING.. minutes, money? How rusty? Durable is he? who is CUT? obviously... we do not want 5 guys doing the 5 slot... and a short bench otherwise. we do some SMALLBALL.. so....Truth is we're barely making good use of Zaza,McGee, West,Jones,McAdoo.
CENSORED... No comment.

If 6ers waive him, thoughts on Tiago Splitter? Sounds like he's about as healthy Greg Oden this year, but liked his game back with SA.

On the GB there was speculation that MCW may get waived or bought out and I saw a report that Terrence Jones may get bought out. I would be all over those two if they are available.
