Who you got?

Hypothetically speaking of course let's assume Fultz/Ball/DSJ are off the board..we end up picking 4th or 5th with these three on still on the board. Who you taking and why?

Voted for Isaac. Tatum plays too finesse for me and Jackson can't shoot. My 2 cents.

Jonathan Isaac is meant to wear an Orlando Magic uniform.

Love Monk but with Evan on the books for the next 4 yrs I can't see where he fits and before you give me that best player available rebuttal the talent gap between the top 6 players isn't wide at all. If we are fortunate enough to pick in the top 5 the pick will likely come down to how our roster is constructed.

We clearly need a F that can score and meshes well with AG. Jacksons shooting percentage is a red flag but he has the highest ceiling of the 3 listed players. Tatum has the highest floor. He's a hell of a scorer with some elements of Kobe in his game. Isaac reminds me of Thon Maker. The ultimate boom or bust pick. Wouldn't be surprised to see Bridges play his way into the top 6. Remember in 2014 when AG was going in the 8-12 range in most mocks up until the last few weeks? Definitely going to keep an eye on him.

I know that a lot of people here are on the isaac train (he clearly has an interesting skillset)but i must admit that i like bridges and tatum more.
This is my personal opinion

https://youtu.be/FzwcFmj4Bwg

I think we should go for a sf in the draft.
This would also allow ag to return to the 4.

Or if Coach Vogel is convinced with ag at the 3(he had some really good Games at the 3)we should draft lauri markannen who is a Really good shooter at the 4 Position

I picked Jackson, but that's probably because he's the only one I've seen. I think his shot will improve and he just seems to have the makings of a star.

I do hear that Isaac is pretty nice though
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

WTF? Not a good comparison. Maker is a big bodied PF/C, Isaac is a wing/stretch 4. What do you have against this kid? Did he beat you up and take your lunch money?? In the draft thread you are calling him overrated.

I bet you have watched him play ZERO times. :banghead:

Isaac clearly makes the most sense but fultz and ball are probably better options

We know they do, but as the OP said, we are imagining they are off the board at our pick.

lol I'm an avid college bball fan. I've seen Florida State play a few times this year and contrary to your statement I don't hate the kid just a little skeptical. I'm sticking with the Thon comp tho. Similar size similar skill sets. Thon is a little taller an has a little more weight on him but he's also really like 23 yrs old.

You can't prove that and neither can I. I see some similarities, but not much. One is a 6'10 210lb wing and the other is a 7'1 235lb PF/C.

I really like the idea of Isaac next to Gordon.

But you won't hear me complain if we walk away with Jackson.

Wow Isaac over Tatum and Jackson? What's the obsession with this kid?

I would take Isaac over Tatum ANYDAY! Over Jackson? That Idk yet because Jackson to me seems to have a higher ceiling but is going to take more time to develop. Ive only watched him 2-3 times and have been impressed.

If we come out of this draft with either Isaac or Jackson, it would be the most successful draft since Dwight left.

Isaac all day. Has all the tools to be a top offensive player in this league. Very underrated defender and shot blocker too. His upside is as high as anyone's in this draft in my opinion.

I love Jackson. You won't see me complaining if we get him. But his shooting is bad. We have plenty of bad shooters.

I have only seen two Duke games so I'm holding off on judging Tatum. He is definitely a name to keep track of but in those two games, I don't remember any "wow" moments from him. I have seen plenty of those moments from Isaac (but I have also watched every FSU game).
