I think mostly roll with what they have for now, but IMO the trade deadline for the Thunder is probably going to be pretty busy. They might add minor pieces before then, but IDK. Presti doesn't tend to be a reactionary GM.

Why, looking to offload Koufos?

Bill Simmons proposed this:

Hmm.. I would definitely do it.
However, I would edit the trade to take Jerami out.

Only reason is now that Kanter is out there is no depth at reserve 4. I don't trust Lauverne at the 4 that much and at least Jerami has defensive versatility. It would allow JJ to start at the 2 and Victor to run the 2nd unit though, which I like.

Also why is Brooklyn involved at all. All they are doing is taking value and not putting any in. Austin should go to the Knicks. At least he has "potential". Brice Johnson and Cameron Payne is a horrible return even just trying to shed Melo. Knicks fans would run Jackson out of Town.

Variations have already been discussed on the trade board, I like some of them better. But yeah, solid idea, though I hate the thought losing cam and then jj possibly walking after the season. And it doesn't really address the need for a 3, but it addresses the shooting need with one of the best.

Honestly I think I'd want assurance jj was willing to stick around, otherwise we lost one of our two trade chips and opened a third hole for next season.

Yeah I wouldn't think twice about that.

Note that it comes out to Payne/ilyasova/1st for 35 games of redick. That feels like an overpay.

The problem is his expiring contract. You know he's gonna look for 15+ million. It really helps with shooting, but it also takes minutes away from both Dipo and Abrines while still not fixing the hole on SF.

What are thoughts on clearing a roster spot for Dakari? Dude has looked like a stud in the D league and we certainly need another big. Dumping some salary too could really help us this offseason if somehow we don't match on Roberson and need to go out and fish for a wing in free agency.

Don't know what the deal will be about, but I just want the thunder to be the third team for the Clippers/knicks trade. Sounds like there's some value to catch.
