Not looking good. Terrible match up like it was last year. TT is one of the few Center that can destroy Adams because of his size/rebound ability ( even if Adams is a wayyyyy better player)

The bench is going to be atrocious without Kanter more than it has been. Who exactly is suppose to score with Kanter out?

Billy D is now forced to actually coach and unleash the bench... He was saving it until the playoffs but his hand is forced and now have to show what he been working with with the bench.

Expect to see lots of movement, cuts, and off ball screens to get Abrines open...

Or he can just continue to save it and put joffery and Sabonis in the kanter spot

Game could go either way to be honest. Cavaliers haven't really been playing all that well recently and Lebron has been playing a ton of minutes. He might scale it back slightly with all the stuff going on, or he might come out really motivated... who knows.

I feel like this is a game where Kanter wont be missed as much since Kyrie and Lebron would just annihilate him anyway. Scoring might be a problem, but if the game is a defensive battle, we could have a really good chance. Victor NEEDS to be aggressive though. He can't have a quiet game against the Cavs with no kanter. Russ will do what he does regardless.

I don't hate the idea of starting grant over sabonis to at least experiment with it. Love is essentially there to hang out around the perimeter and grant can be better closing out/switching.

If we lose by ten and I saw some positive moments from Sabonis, Abrines, Grant and Payne, I wouldn't be too upset.

As everyone knows, the Cavs have struggled mightily in January. They had lost 6 of 8 and three in a row before beating the worst team in the NBA in their last game. So, as all other Thunder fans know, or should know, the Cavs will almost undoubtedly "get right' today and beat us by 30.

Victor almost made me throw my remote through my tv with that blown layup.

Same here. I had to stand up and do a couple of quick laps around the living room. If we want to pull off this upset on the road, we need ever bucket we can get; especially since our bench is going to produce very little offense with Kanter sidelined. Him blowing that easy fastbreak layup made me want to punch a wall.

We'd have been up 20-10 if Oladipo hadn't blown two easy layups.

He's directly cost us 4 shoulda been "guaranteed" points.

Man we need some guys who don't suck at shooting. They don't even need to be decent, just don't suck.

Roberson misses two straight wide-open 3s. Fortunately, the Cavs have missed a handful of wide-open threes, too.

Unfortunately for us, them missing wide-open 3s is uncharacteristic. Us missing wide-open 3s is par for the course because we're the second worst 3P shooting team in the NBA.

Joakim Noah is laughing at that shot by Grant.

12-2 Cavs run. Seven point lead gone.

Game one of the sans-Kanter bench experience has been bad.
