Bobby Portis is not an NBA player. That doesn't change if he has a good game tonight. He's not quick enough to play good defense, usually compounds that with bad defensive mistakes, and plays like an unathletic version of Tyrus Thomas offensively.

Ok... who has the number of different starting lineups this "playoff" team has used already?

have you seen him play this year?

He shouldn't be in the NBA. If you have watched all his minutes this year and you come to any other conclusion then you just don't get basketball.

Bobby Portis hasn't played the last 4 games...starts tonight. Ladies and gentlemen... I give you Fred Hoiberg.

So what are u suggesting? He's worse than Niko?

I'm suggesting that he's rated appropriately.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

and that is why Bobby Portis is Bobby Portis, took the 1st possession for him to fail to rotate properly back to his man.

And quite frankly, he is absolutely worse than Niko, who is also not good.

Wade still gets a lot of respect from the refs.

What Fred is doing just doesn't make sense. He is changing line ups constantly, and it's just creating uncertainty with the players, especially the young players. You don't build confidence by giving someone 30 minutes one game, and the first game he doesn't play well in zero minutes next is the quickest way to create uncertainty within a players mental space.

After his first season, I advocated patience with Fred, but he just isn't a good basketball coach. It's one thing to be a good personable leader as a head coach but lacking in the X's and O's, or being great with X's and O's but being a horrible personable coach, but he seems to not get it from a personable stand point nor a X's and O's stand point, which makes me wonder, how can fans see this but not management?

It clearly hasn't worked, and he hasn't improved. I'm not sure what we are waiting for with him?

Hell, this is true in any sport. Most difficult position to be in in baseball? Pinch hitter. How rare is it for a backup QB, at any level of the game, come in and succeed with first teamers he hasn't had many practice reps with?

Any word on what's wrong with Taj? Can't watch the game tonight.

This team talks about effort, but doesn't really want to show it.

Its his yearly ankle issue. Shots of cortisone in it. Normal mid-season stuff for Taj.

This team is sleep-walking out there.

Awful to watch.
