I guess I get it. A loss against Minny tomorrow is much more important than a loss over the #2 team in the conference. From time to time you need to show your guys that they are capable of competing with the better teams in the league. I think that was clear enough with 5 minutes remaining where we could call in the tank efforts. But oh well.

You aren't really wrong. It's just how our memories work. With the last couple top 5 picks being 1 away from a franchise player. Otherwise I agree it's a crapshoot. Just hasn't been kind to us lately we need all the help we can get.

At least Dallas and Philly are both in close games as well!

He's right. He is our best player and has taken alot of slack.

We got to keep thinking about the next game guys, this one was a tough one, but at least it wasn't against one of the top teams. Hopefully we get it together by tomorrow against Min which is a huge game for us. Can't afford to play like this tomorrow.

All I know is I'm still going to be rooting for wins. If it hurts you guys, too bad.

It hurts both of us that we have Mario instead of Porzingis, AG instead of Embiid.

It's a damned lottery. The Bulls got Rose while being like the 8th or 9th worst record. We had a 2nd pick and the draft sucked that year.
It's January and every year by this time all prospects for the draft are the new LeBron... It's a damned lottery and the Magic future will not depend on tonight's win.

True but the lottery locks you in to, at worst, 3 spots back of where you landed in the ranking. It's not just about landing the #1 pick.

It's ridiculous. In years past, there was real reason to take issue with Vucevic. But he's completely turned his game around on the defensive end. He's never going to be a shot-blocking menace like DeAndre Jordan, but he's really improved his positioning, rim protection, and pick n roll defense. And is still the closest thing we have to a go to scorer. Meanwhile Biz has actually struggled protecting the rim a lot and has hands of stone, and Ibaka's effort waxes and wanes.

All while having to read that he's the one on the trade block. :noway: It's fine if the Magic want to test the waters, but he's not the problem with this team and there's no need to under-sell Vucevic.

Didn't we learn anything from watching the Sixers tank as opposed to us? The difference between 3rd pick and 4th is HUGE. We miss Porzringis by 1 pick, miss Embiid by one pick, yet we still don't **** get it.

Im done... see you guys at the draft.

I get some of you wanting to tank, but it really rubs me the wrong way when fans of a team complain after a win. It was a good effort and a good win, it was nice to see. This team will have plenty of other loses for you all to be happy about.

It's just how many more years during this rebuild are we going to pick up meaningless wins so we can miss out by a pick or two on a franchise talent. Every **** year we go through this. Yes it's nice to get wins but the season is already out of reach and over. The tank race is so close this year that literally every win is going to matter. I just want to get a franchise player that is going to get this franchise out of the dark place it is right now. The long term future of this team is not bright at all right now. Watching guys like Jeff green and CJ Watson who are going to be gone in a year lead us to wins Is pointless. This **** just gets old

If this team gave us a product that went out and gave effort and showed they cared every night it would be different, but they don't at all. We've had to sit through 30 point losses all season.

Well, Vucevic and Orlando handed #2 seed on East to Celtics with this win over Raptors.Considering latest trade rumors, he already started producing for Celtics :D

Jokes aside, he had a good game and its nice for a change read some more appreciative things about him.Despite being one of the rare guys in this team who actually cares about this franchise and winning, majority of this board soured pretty quickly on him.

I hope Hennigan is not allowed to trade him. He's made the wrong decisions with our assets the past couple years.

Dunno man, a lot of these people wanted this team to win for quite a while. When the team shows nothing night after night and the coach has no vision for the future and we keep signing veterans to barely move the needle when we need them and **** up draft position when we're no longer competitive, taking a holier than thou attitude when cheering for the team doesn't mean much. We all want the same thing which is to be better. If we win 5 in a row, that's something. If we win one big game and then lose again when we need wins then it's the same cycle over and over again.

Again, people can celebrate and enjoy the win. Just saying nothing about this game changed anything about the team's outlook or future. It's not like we won on the backs of anybody that will be a huge piece of this team in the future (other than Vucevic, unless he's moved).

Vogel just called Vuc a a heck of a two way player.... a week ago he told payton he was wrong for benching him and would never bench him late in the game again. **** off vogel, you benched both these guys when we were still actually playing for something.

do you expect them to lose every single game from here on out >? They have plenty more games to lose, just enjoy a good played game and we happen to win by 1 point ! lol no big deal .
