After watching him intentionally sabotage his team the other night against Miami, I wouldn't trade Knight for Butler straight up. I wouldn't take him for any reason whatsoever. The man is a locker room problem, that rep has been with him for a long time and it's deserved. Yes, he's a good player but it takes a certain type of coach and a certain type of team to keep that kind of person in check and we have neither the coach nor the team. And I doubt it matters who you have in the long run, he will always return to making it about himself.

If Butler were on the table for Knight, you do it a million times over. He's too good. You worry about the fit later if his personality becomes an issue. You can also deal him later for more. If he becomes a headcase, just tell him to sit at home until we find a trade partner for him. He's got too much talent and would transcend our team to the next level (not title contenders, but playoffs for sure).

Never won a playoff series??

Huh? What?

Is that the requirement now to get a big contract?

Anthony Davis better get the memo then.

Chris Paul has been praised as one of the best PGs of all time and has not made a finals.

Nash has won 2 MVPs but never made the finals either.

Thomas has been HUGE for Celtics, he gives them the scoring they need and thus have helped them get a winning record.

Has anyone on the Suns not named Chandler or Dudley been on a playoffs team?

What Thomas is a doing is remarkable. He's doing it because people like you say he cant do it.

I hope we get rid of Len. Not interested in overpaying a 6 and 6 guy.

There is no place in this game for what he pulled. You don't screw over your entire teammates like that. If I were positive we could ship him out for good value without ever bringing him into the locker room, yeah, then I'd consider it. But I'd seriously wonder about what kind of GM would bring that man into his arena, I'm not sure there is as much of a market as you might think. He's good, but he's not good enough for that kind of problem IMO.

He's starting to look like that preseason Len that most of us wanted no part of. To me, it's clear, if you can't start him, you can't keep him.

Yeah, I am tired of watching his robot moves on the court.
Defensively he does not even know what he is doing...

I would try to trade him at the dealine if he can bring some value.

The way he plays we can always replace him with other european young C like Zizic or Zubak... not that hard to find them.

If they get Bledsoe before the deadl then I would have the sixers in the playoffs this year.

I'd do it for the lakers pick and the Sacramento pick they have coming to them. If they want to give a different big instead of Noel I wouldn't mind.

Tough call. Two extra picks in the upcoming draft. I would say soft yes. Bledsoe is having a beast season.

I have already said that Ainge will get the #1. That is why Lebron is complaining about the "front office". Cavaliers getting older and Celtics getting younger.

Hopefully if the Sixers keep winning and are somewhat in the playoff hunt maybe Colangelo will be the anti Hinkie and start trading some of their treasure chest of picks for a proven veteran like a Bledsoe

Find a way for the Suns to acquire Myles Turner without giving up Booker/Warren/Chriss/Bender.

My strategy:

Bledsoe, Chandler, Milsap to Indy
Turner and filler to Phoenix
Suns send a decent future 1st to Atl + maybe Brandon Knight and/or filler to make the saleries work.

Problem: Indy seems like it must send back a top 6 rotation player and gut its bench to make the salaries work.

We give up Bledsoe and get Turner? I think we pass on that offer.

Do you guys think we could trade Knight to Boston for expiring contracts and the option for us to swap the Nets pick with ours? So essentially, they still get a top pick we just get the luxury of having two chances at the No 1 spot, while Celtics will still have a top 3-5 pick. Maybe give them a 2nd rounder too (which would be the 32nd pick in the draft). Add Chandler too? IDK.
I feel like Ainge owes us for gifting them IT, so he should return the favor. 8-)

Yes, it's remarkable. He's still 5' 9", isn't going to grow, and he will be punished in the halffcourt when the game slows down. Unless you build a GS style team to account for his problems on the defensive end. I'm not going to be the one that gives him $20+M a year and I wouldn't advocate my team to do so. I'm sure someone will though. Lets put a pin in this and see what Boston does in the playoffs this year.

Also, that's a weird way to take what I said and apply it to AD. I didn't know he was 5' 9".

No, they don't need Knight. They have Thomas, Rozier, Smart and Bradley.

You mean if McD calls Ainge and asked him for a solid. I don't think that would be farfetched. How close are Ainge and McD?

^^Every time I watch TJ play I find myself wishing that Brandon had a fraction of this guy's BBIQ. And as a TJ fan, I find myself wishing he had a fraction of Brandon's physical gifts. What a waste.

I don't think we trade any of our starters and I think it would be pretty dumb if we did. Booker, TJ, and chriss aren't going anywhere.

Chandler- The guy is doing exactly what he was paid to do. Rebound and play defense, and he's doing both exceptionally. Yes he's old but as we have seen time after time (nash, grant, shaq) players find the fountain of youth under the sun. And in today's NBA his contract is a bargain for his production. Timofey Mozgov, Jokim Noah, and Robin Lopez are making more than chandler...LOL

Bledsoe- I really don't understand people wanting to trade Bledsoe. His ceiling is high right now? yeah no kidding and whos to say it won't go higher? He's still only 27 and I believe 1 of 5 players in the league to average 20/5/5 and the guy can't even be mentioned as an all star "snub." He's the second best on ball defender we have behind PJ and never gets enough credit for his defense. Also the guy has made great strides to becoming reliable down the stretch. I remember last year towards the end of games it was almost always a rushed shot or a turn over... This year, he's fifth in the league in clutch time statistics. http://www.nbaminer.com/clutch-time-stats/ and speaking of NBA contracts his an absolute BARGAIN.. Mike Conley is making nearly double. You wanna trade him for yet another draft pick and take a gamble on a young kid that may or may not pan out while you wait for even a few more years? No thank you, I'll stick with what I know.. which is a proven player in Bledsoe.

AS far as a few trades. Get Knight and Len outta here. Knight is way too inconsistent and the chances of Len developing into anything more than a backup center is slim to none.

Len for any expiring contract and first round pick. If we don't get that just let him walk, it'll be cheaper and better in the long run.

Knight for Jahil Okafor or Noel (prefer Okafor). Little bit of attitude but hopefully Chandler can whip him into shape. Philly has no use for him. Take a chance on him and if things don't pan out...See above Len Trade. I really do think Knight was shine in Philly too, he would start and would be the scoring guard along side the facilitator Ben Simmons once he is healthy. Probably be a really good combo for them.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.

It's no surprise that Okafor isn't in game shape and not just because he's collected a bunch of DNP's over the past 8 weeks. I watch them often and I can't help but notice almost every time they show him on the sidelines he's shoveling snacks into his mouth like there's no tomorrow.

I'd still take him for Knight if that was on the table (and Noel wasn't). Rookie contract, new scenery. Nothing to lose. Especially when he'd be taken under the wing of Chandler

That is a creative idea. It really depends on what Ainge thinks of the top end of this draft.
