SVG has to take tanking seriously. We can get a very nice young player out of this terrible season but I feel he's going to go all "we have pride" on us and get some meaningless wins giving us that 14th pick or something

Once again I'm reminded why I lost interest in this team

Man we should've taken Rubio for Jackson and not looked back.

Its not reggies fault he's dreadful its SVGs fault for continuously trusting him when we have proven clutch players like Tobias and KCP. SVG calls the plays.

Funny that same pride is the reason we're stuck in this mediocrity anyways.

Whenever the season looked lost toward the 2/3 mark, we always had those string of meaningless games won when the playoffs were all but gone. I see it happening again this year.

I feel like SVG is smart enough to know better being the GM or maybe I just hope he is.

Yep, we have never actually tried rebuilding.

I think Dumars was handcuffed, and SVG is SVG, so we've just never really had a chance to rebuild properly.

Just ride him out til the trade deadline as we don't want to risk him losing anymore value being benched for Ish. Maybe some dumb team will see 17ppg and 39% 3 point shooting and trade something for him.

Im all for tanking, dont get me wrong, but the issue is that this team isnt bad enough to tank. Theyre bad, but theyre only 10-13 pick bad. That isnt going to do anything for them. This franchise is literally in the worst possible position. NBA Purgatory. Not good enough to win, not bad enough to get a top pick and get a potential star.

SVG has to see that this roster isnt going to win as constructed. He cant be that dumb, can he? Ship RJ for anyone/trade AD to BOS for the BKN pick. That would be a good start.

At this point we are only a couple wins out from that 4-6 pick area. If we did it right we could pull it off and it would be a huge payoff. Outside of Brooklyn, Phoenix and Lakers everyone else is still being semi competitive and hitting little streaks here and there.

This team will not tank. Its simply not a productive line of discussion.

In that case, If Reggie is on this team after the deadline, this board is gonna go nuts.

From the looks of it we don't need to actively tank! We're bad enough already.

An "injury" to Drummond would kill the season dead as can be since RJ would go into full blown Westbrook mode...

What we need at the PG spot Reggie simply can't provide.

Didnt see second half, fell asleep. Regardless, definitely need 4 out of the next 5 to really make a move here.

They need to start Ish. He pushes the ball and is a better ball handler. He is a smart player and he sets others up for high efficient shots.

I'm not sure what the deal is with SVG. If it ain't working, fix it! How can we all see it and not him or the assistant coaches? :banghead:
