Despite your efforts, I still have hope for you. I know one day you'll stumble across the concept of figurativeness.

Oh, but the day you understand the concept of figurativeness, you'll also realize it's not mutually exclusive with reality. Not in the slightest.
Just keep trying Klomp, you'll get there eventually.

The Lavine is better than Wiggins camp sure has been quiet lately.

I would disagree. Many of us, me included, are smart enough to know with players of this age and development, game-to-game is a very volatile thing. And I for one, will not come onto RGM banging on Wiggins when he has a bad game or bad stretch. I would hope same would be applied to LaVine from Wiggins camp. Too many here (mutual to LaVine and Wiggins camp) are overly critical down to the possession (lost amongst the trees and don't see the forest).
Also it can't be forgotten, and I think I speak for everyone no matter the camp you park yourself in, my hope is they figure it out and can coexist for many years to come. I also hope Thibs figures it out, improves their rotations, even the roster mix, to cultivate their coexistence working out successfully.
In my perfect world, LaVine continues his upward development trajectory (which has dwarfed Wiggins), while improving his biggest weakness (defense). And Wiggins takes it personal to become more Kawi (less Rudy Gay) as a full time SF (part time SG).

Especially his defense has picked up. Impressive improvements.

Wiggins is my favorite player but I do also like Lavine. I don't get it why the Wiggins fans have to not like Wiggins and Lavine's fans to not like Wiggins.
There are many fans of other players that do not like (or hate) Wiggins.
Lebron fans trying to underestimate Wiggins because of K. Love trade in which Lebron was involved.
Jabari Parker fans trying to underestimate Wiggins in order to say that Jabari is better.
And finally there are also some Lavine's fans who do the same thing in order to say that Lavine is better (I don't speak personally about you).
Wiggins continues to work and improve his game despite all of these hatefull comments about him (James possey number 2, or just search "wiggins bust" in google and you will find some crazy comments and articles).
In my opinion Lavine is good and he has the potential to become better. But I think that Wiggins has the potential to become something special. And I think that Kawhi Leonard is a good player to compare Wiggins but he is not his ceiling.

I was in that camp earlier in the year and I will gladly eat my crow. As long as the team wins, I don't care who's better, I just felt like Zach was consistently giving us scoring early in the year and Wiggins would give us a 47 point game followed up by an 11 point game, then a 23 point game, then a 7 point game and Zach would give 20+ every night so I felt like Wiggins just didn't give a damn..
Lately, Wiggins' effort has been there, he's doing more than just scoring and he's been hitting timely shots while Zach's defense has been atrocious and his awareness has been off. I still love both players, can't wait to see our young big 3 all clicking

I'm sure you know the answer to that question: who really cares?
Been in too many forums for too many years, known too many people. Just like in every other aspect of life some are willing to discuss, some don't. Some will bring arguments and ideas, some will just do something dumb over and over and take away from the conversation.
Having a mod treating other people's posts like literalness is the only way to express something factual is absurd, annoyingly stupid and a lack of respect towards other forum members. You could of course excuse it if he suffered from a disorder like Aspergers, but you know Klomp doesn't, cause he doesn't hold the same standards for his posts and will often use idioms (which are figurative expressions in themselves), sarcasm, and is a well known fan of straw man arguments. He just thinks he's 'Klomping' like a couple guys liked to say, or think it's cool or smart, when it only shows shortsightedness and, as I said, a profound lack of respect for those he's actually trolling with such replies.
I don't care much about Klomp, I rarely reply to this kind of nonsense by him, even though I feel bad when he attacks people that may not be as fluent in English or simply won't get into a debate with a mod, like that's something that really matters. I just see him post news and tweets, apologize for the organization, resort to those straw man falacies, and backpedal once and again when failure is too obvious to continue to deny it. But unfortunately he decides to try his one-liner BS with one of my posts from time to time, and being a mod you can't even put him on the ignore list, so I obviously end up replying.
He's probably a nice guy outside the forums, I have no reason to think otherwise, this is an Internet board after all. And I'm sure there are people here who like him too. I just think he's a shoddy mod way too often. Just like you think I'm a condescending jerk.

They are out there, they just go do it on other forums. Youll read things like he is corey brewer, he has nothing to do with us winning, lavine should be the one taking the last shot in games, we need to be running lavine iso's more etc, or wiggy sucks at defense because he cant shut down pg or kawhi.
I think people expected so much and he didnt deliver right away that all they see are negatives. Its the same with rubio. They look at him and only see a guy that cant shoot.
People think they will be happy once rubio and wiggins are off the team, but then theyll just focus on someone else.

LaVine has still been better this year, even after the injury bug and rarely touching the ball lately. That just goes to show how far behind Wiggins has been.

Re: The Andrew Wiggins Thread
Wiggins played better at the begin of the season, then Zach played much better and now Wiggins is better again. And an impatient, premature bunch of people like us is overreacting the **** out of it.
They can both be top-5 players at their position and it simply doesn't make any sense to lower the value of either, just to make a point for the other. Thibs needs to find ways to involve both players in his offense though. Zach seems a bit forgotten on offense lately. As soon as this changes, he'll be fine. Regarding the defense: Even very good teams don't have very good individual defenders from 1-5. It's very possible to hide a bad perimeter defender with team defense. It's kind of mindboggling that athletic superfreak Zach is so limited in his lateral quickness, but this can still work, as long as the team defense keeps improving (which it does). Wiggins is and will be the better individual defender but Zach's help defense improved a lot from his rookie season. Absolutley no reason to trade one of them.

We're winning! More!!
And Wiggins has always had to carry a much heavier load than LaVine, LaVine is still bad at defense and he is prone to terrible decision making. It is likely that if he had to carry the load as much as Wiggins does, this comparison conversation would not happen.
LaVine’s type of improvement is somewhat easier as he has been able to improve upon already existing strengths, namely shooting ability, attacking the rim in transition, and off-ball shooting. Wiggins, in comparison, has been asked to be the focal point of the offense, either through mid-post isolations, pull-up jumpers from mid-range, and now playmaking duties. Wiggins is not being asked to become a “3-and-D” player akin to Luol Deng. Wiggins is being asked to become a star.
This Lavine camp vs Wiggins camp is so stupid, because Wiggins is by far the superior player. And defensively Lavine hasn't improved since his rookie year, he kinda regressed.
