I have a gut feeling we will win this game. Looking at the team stats we match up fairly well with them. We've had a couple of days off so our guys should be well rested, and I like to believe that positive adjustments have been made during that time frame.

After our current string of losses, the only team I feel comfortable making a winning prediction against is the Nets at home. At this point I feel that even the Lakers or Suns can beat us in Milwaukee.

Very true. That team is ready to implode.

Same here. Not looking forward to seeing the streak-busters in action. Could be another ugly offensive game from Giannis considering the Jazz's interior defense.

This is the type of game we win. Just to frustrate the fan base.

My gut tells me the team will continue playing sub .500 basketball until we're completely eliminated from playoff contention (with a 31-41 record), but then win 7 of our last 10 games against tough west coast opponents to keep us out of a top 6-8 draft pick.

Excited to go to the game tonight. My only chance all year.

Unless we play Thon and he somehow draws Gobert out of the lane by burying threes, we are going to get trounced. Even then, we probably still lose. This is going to be really interesting to see how basically two opposite styles of defense play.

Can we play 4 out and either compel Gobert to leave the paint or get a quickness mismatch on him in the mid post?

The problem is rarely the offense. We will find the points we need Gobert or not Gobert.
The problem is Kidd's defensive plan which is exactly what the Jazz want.
They rarely use Gobert in their offense. He is mostly under the paint to grab an offensive rebound or a lob.
If we continue the usual crap and pack the paint to ....stop... Gobert from getting some points on Monroe they will just move the ball(They excel on that) and find their wide open 3s for the whole night.

On my way to SLC to watch the game tonight and then visit some national parks later this week. Excited to watch the Thon vs Gobert match up!

I think I'd put Gobert on Giannis and just sag off of him at the top of the key.
