If I'm looking at it through my lens, there's the bottom of the barrel and then there's the name Martin Mayhew just below that.

I just looked at Detroit's draft history. I only see about 5 players I like from 2008-2015.

I'm going to take this one with a grain of salt because I'm not familiar with the source

This echos some of my hopes too. I think Williams is more important than Ingram at the moment due to the draft's number of pass rushers. But if we addressed these two areas in FA, that would make for more draft options.

Now just to get a damn 3-4 coach. I'm hoping for Horton, Haslett or Donatell.

I'm on board with Cutler now that Kyle is our coach. Him, Brandon Williams/Poe/Hankins, Ingram, a WR and Tony Jefferson would be an insane improvement. Get another QB, WR, pass rusher and ILB in the draft.

Sounds like a successful offseason to me. I think we need to add another RB during the offseason too though and possibly look at OL.

If he's reinstated, I'm perfectly fine with going for Josh Gordon as well

Lynch interview on KNBR and unsurprisingly he's a 100 times better interview than Baalke.

One thing I do like about Lynch is he seems generally enthusiastic about the job and the challenge that comes with it. Seems like all those competitive juices that have been hibernating since his playing days have awoken and he's ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work.

I could easily get behind that one. He'd have been a Niner if I'd have gotten my preference that year. :nonono: For the record, At the time I was good with Lemonier as a consolation prize, however.

My guess is that it could take a 5-year deal worth around $55-$65M to get him, though. We'll see.

That's not incredibly high for a pass rusher though considering our cap space. I think that number would be more than reasonable

He might be talking about Williams.

Ahh, I just assumed that he was talking about Ingram since he mentioned Lemonier as a consolation. I want both players to be honest and we're likely going to have to over pay a little bit to get people to SF.
