why in F would we trade drummond lmao. if it wasnt for dre, we'd get punched by 14 every night. we've put bum ass monroe, and 2 small fowards next to drummond. dont none of them compliment drummond if your seriously trying to compete. only players i feel like are worth keeping are dre, sj, ish, and keep reggie bullock. other than that, i say we flip these other guys for picks. reggie and mook just aint it. mediocre. i want to compete in the playoffs and go deep and im down to take a step back whether that be a yr or 2 as opposed to keeping this ragtag bunch together who probably wont even make the playoffs. the bulls ahead of the pistons and theyre trying to trade jimmy butler so we definently shouldnt have no affinity to these guys like reggie and mook who really aint ****

Reggie has had some great games as well...

I completely agree w hoopshabit , while Dre's defense is upsetting, he seems to be doing "other things" to help the team and has continued to develop from last season, where as RJ seems to have regressed every season since we got him.

Put it this way, we probably could hold onto dre this season and trade him next and get the same value if not more, i don't think RJ's value is every going to be higher than what it is at this point. I'd contact Indy or Brklyn and offer RJ for either RHJ or Teague and hope they bite

What has Drummond improved on? Reggie and Andre have both been huge net negatives this season at the very least Reggie has a bit of an excuse cause he was injured for 20 games. But regardless Andre would net the best return.

as sh* as his defense has been, its actually improved . He's not fouling as often on 1 on 1, at times absolutely recs havoc defensively in the PnR and timing on blocks seems to have gotten better. offensively he's a lot more comfortable in the post and without looking he's probably a lot more efficient. He's also setting a lot better picks and at times finding the open passing lane. He's probalby put the ball on the floor and drove to the rim with success more this season than he has in the past 4 combined and of course his FT have improved enough that teams aren't going to the hack a dre as often. His problem has always been consistency and effort but from season to season, Dre has improved in those other aspects.

I voted Reggie. Drummond is still only a 23 year old kid. He's been extremely disappointing and frustrating to watch this year, but he still has time to improve. Reggie, on the other hand, likely is who he will always be. When he came to the Pistons and averaged 9.2 assists in 27 games (I think) when we first traded for him, I thought he was going to be amazing. That is not the player he is though. He's a 26 year old, shoot first point guard, who will likely never be the player the team needs him to be.

In so many of our games, we resort to people standing around, playing isolation offense. It's a horribly ineffective style of play for our team, and I believe that is largely a result of Reggie and the tone he sets offensively. And given that PG is currently one of the stronger overall positions in the NBA, I'd say that if we can cut him lose, especially if we can get a 1st round draft pick out of it, we'd me smart to do so. If we could trade Reggie for a early to mid first round draft pick (admittedly very optimistic right now), I'd gladly do that, and run Ish & Beno at the PG instead. The ball moves so much when they're on the court.

I feel like many still forget that Drummond is 23. There are some rookies almost his age. Behave.

Last year reggie took over when he needed to, and we won. When he came back from injury he tried taking over, before he was up to speed (game shape). It didn't go well...pissed everyone off. So he stopped being as aggressive.

But now, he is back up to speed. His scoring is the best we've got. And it draws D away from dre, and others.
Now that he is up to speed, i want him doing even more. He's the best chance we have.

Sorry, but right now Reggie is trying to do things he's not capable of doing AT THIS POINT.

Utilizing KCP & Tobias better is the best chance we got mate.

And doing that takes a lot if pressure off RJ to be the 1 dude to take over a game.

Unfortunately it seems he's not willing to give them that chance because it'll lessen his shine

RJ needs to get past this "I gotta prove myself" stage cause right now all he's proving is that he's interested in himself above the team.

agreed and i believe stats will even say that TH and KCP are much more productive in the PnR

Definitely Reggie Jackson. You can run the PnR with other players and Dre will still have success. Remember earlier in the season when Ish and Beno were running the point? Drummond looked to have some springs in his legs. If you push the pace and everyone is passing the ball and getting involved, everyone will start having fun and builds more confidence. Go watch those games again where they were blowing teams out.
