So much for the bad boy hat wearing last year lol.
Time to man up boys. If only we played like we did against Cavs last year. They all played so tough and so hard. SJ needs to start. Marcus is better at PF imo. Defense wins and that would be our best defensive team

Re: Great article
Softies. Remember when Middleton basically called out Drummond for being soft?

You consistently see Dre laughing and smiling at other players. As other posters put it, he's more concerned about making friends and not making anyone mad than getting the win. WTF he's laughing and smiling on national tv with other players, when we the 10th seed, underachieving and on a losing streak. F* that! show so some grit and pride. unfortunatley Dre does't have that personality

I didn't remember it, so I did a quick Google.
“We just tried to be physical,” Middleton said of the Bucks’ plan for Drummond. “We know he doesn’t like contact. Once he misses a couple, he is going to get down on himself and start forcing tough shots.”
Sad how incredibly true that comment is. I can't remember ever seeing Andre actually muscle somebody in the post for better position.

Yep, he does look more focused the last 2 games since our 4day break though
He is still young. Will be interesting when we play the Sixers to see him go up against Embiid. He better come hard or get embarrassed by the younger guy.

Not only isn't known but it's made public!
Which means Dre has no excuse and needs to stop it

Re: Great article
It's something we've been talking about for years. Where Drummond is concerned it's just about playing to your strengths and being assertive. He is being a little more so, but it needs to become a staple of his game. With his athleticism and strength he should be one of the toughest guys to handle down low, but too often lets himself be pushed out of position. When it's highly contested near the basket he needs to stop with the finesse moves and just put it in the basket with two hands. A little more "bully ball." Make people "feel him."

Re: Great article
This is why SJ needs to move into the lineup, Defense is what is killing the Pistons and he's the best defender on the Pistons at SF. The reason the Pistons won against the Pelican's was because they locked down on defense in the 4th quarter, something they haven't been able to do. KCP/SJ are the most committed defenders on the team, and Ish Smith at least tries. Morris needs to be gone I think, TH/SJ need to lock down the SF spot, not because Morris sucks, but he can't be guarding Jrue Holiday like he was last night, and I believe he is the guy who has little room for growth.
