This is almost as bad and inexplicable for them as it was for us when we traded a 1st for Vasquez. It's nice to be on the other side of one of these for a change.

I'm starting to wonder what we could get for Henson. Could we actually get not only a clearance but also decent combo guard in exchange, or was this an isolated incident, or did we tank his value too much by benching him.

I'm not keen on moving Greg. I'm actually thinking these make him more signable in the offseason, if his price is reasonable. But being this far out of the race, I'd be fine with trade him, provided it didn't just result in a clearance, rather we got an asset like a 1st or decent prospect. But then we really have to figure out how to re-stock the entire center position, presuming we traded Henson also, which was always the most obvious one.

These moves could be really good for the future in the end.

If we were starting Thon over a 17M center, a 12.5M center and a 12M center, what makes you think he won't play in front of a 5M center?

Simple...I know who the coach is, he has shiny new toys

Wrong. Liberal tolerance only extends to people who act and think exactly as they do. Don't forget principal #6 of the radical progressive left: Think how we think, act how we act, say what we say and vote how we vote; if you do, all will be right and we will attend rally's together. However, if you dare to go against us in word or deed, we will DESTROY you. If you question Obama, we will call you a racist. If you believe that marriage should be between man and woman and need not be redefined, we will label you a homophobe. If you believe in borders and rule of law and do not think that we should flood this nation with millions of illegal aliens, we will call you a xenophobe. If you believe that all life is precious, in the womb and out of it and you think that abortion right up until the point of birth is immoral, we will call you an anti-woman misogynist. But again, if you do, say, and think like us, then we can work together to create a socialist utopia on earth.

Folks, don't be fooled. The radical progressive left are hate filled and dangerous. If they had their way they would reprogram, or do away entirely with those that got in the way of their agenda.

Being unable to accept the fact that others don't share your own values or opinions isn't a character flaw unique to a single political affiliation or personality type. We see it on this forum all the time, about matters of far less global importance, from a variety of people with diverse backgrounds.

With that said, I don't think this forum is the proper place to hash out liberals vs conservatives, or the other issues you brought up in your post. We're all (well mostly) Bucks fans here, and this forum would be best served by its posters putting aside whatever disagreements they have on other matters to focus on what brought us here. I understand you feel you were baited into responding the way you did, and I don't mean to single you out specifically. I would just hate to see this board go any further down this road than it already has in this thread.

For the record, aside from something truly awful I'm much more concerned with whether a player can help us win than who they voted for.

WOW. What an amazing gift the Hornets have given us. Spencer Hawes is a **** dumbass but I don't give a **** about that because we're clearing Plumlee's contract. I'll take it.

I don't think benching him is going to make him opt out. Letting him put up stats will make him opt out.

weve been looking for someone to drive the tank?

weve now got hawes, and beasley. lets play them together and see how this tank go.

Yep, but I think he'll opt out anyways, because these moves reinforce how stupid some GM is going to be when it comes to acquiring a big, especially under the new salary cap. He'll think he can get much more than 6 total.

Still a slam dunk trade, but there's still a role for him in the league.

Of course, but the minute we signed him to that deal it was over. Nobody would want him gone if he was on a reasonable contract. He shouldve gotten a Dedmon type deal.

Or even better, scheme change coming...but yeah, I know that won't happen, but when I woke up today, moving Plumlee for an expiring and a guy with a PO for next year seemed unfathomable too.

We already have that in Thon.

You can never have too much of a good thing.

Also, Thon is currently a starter.
