Gery is spitballing Henson/Delly for Rubio.

well then......

anyways, let's move Henson and call it a season. We are still a year away and need to clear space for a 5th starter with Parker, Middleton, Thon, and Giannis

If anything else, we should up our alley-oops right?

Right - it's a great job of fixing a problem, but we shouldn't forget that he created the problem.

Still, I'm happy.

Fan****ingtastic if true.

Of course anything with Henson in the "out" column is fan****ingtastic.

That's really fast to give up on Delly and I'm not seeing what we're getting back with Rubio, unless we're completely giving up on Giannis being the primary playmaker.

Rubio off the bench getting as many minutes Giannis is off the court as possible. I love Delly but yeah, I'm making that trade.

Henson + Delly for Rubio + Jordan Hill works, as does Rubio + Pek... I'd add a 2nd to make it happen.

Rubio/Brogdon
Khris/Snell
Jabari/Beasley
Giannis/Maker
Monroe/Hawes

Teletovic, Terry, Hibbert on the bench.

I'm taking Rubio just for the aesthetics

So then I assume you move Brogdon back to a starter? I can see that I guess.

I wouldn't envision them playing together a whole lot. But when they did I'd have to imagine we'd have unbelievable defensive numbers (assuming Kidd is gone).

Also, Henson would be gone, so that'd be great.

I'd feel bad for Sidney Moncrief, though. I mean he just came up with that "Broose Brothers" tag.

I want to enjoy this deal before we sign Hawes to a 50 million dollar extension.

My worry right now is this gives Kidd an excuse to send Thon to the bench again.

Yup. Split PG time between Brogdon and Rubio with Brogdon getting all his minutes with Giannis. Try to stagger Jabari's minutes more without Giannis and with Rubio. Giannis takes over the duties on the frontline and Rubio makes Jabari score 25 points a game.

Haha, doh. I'm just going to own my mistake there and leave it unedited.
