Shabazz for PJ? Please. I would like it. PJ has nothing to do with our future core. Shabazz maybe. He will bring Points off the bench. A SF duo of Bazz and TJ would be nice. Get it done

Shabazz sucks. He is good from 3 which is nice, but his D is horrid and we need it. I say if we open a roster spot, pick up Troy
Williams for now.

Cavs would never do it. They need clutch shooters. LeBron plays point and gets shooters involved. Bledsoe doesn't fit in there.

As much as i dislike Tucker, id rather have Tucker than Shabazz.

I will say though, I think Shabazz would be an ideal fit with Bledsoe/Booker. He has great mechanics for his lefty shot and is the perfect catch and shoot player for our guards.
If we aren't able to get a 1st for Tucker, than I would probably take the chance on Muhammad just because Warren hasn't been very good lately. I would ask for Miami's 2019 2nd round pick at least. Also, maybe a change of scenery will elevate his game. Though I don't like that it's his contract year so I'd be worried about giving him an extension.

a.) I dont believe Bledsoe does anything to move the bar for Cleveland. Maybe adding Tucker and a Second would help
b.) we dont have the cap space to take on Wall without giving up something.
c.) Washington is 29-20. Maybe if they were 20-29 they'd consider, but there is no reason to tank up a storm as the #4 seed in the east.
But i'll make it work for money purposes.
Suns trade: Bledsoe/Knight/Dudley/Tucker/Len/Suns 2017 First
Suns get: Wall/Irving/Mahinmi
Suns gain 2x powers in the back court. Williams has shown to be decent when given minutes. He can hold the fort for the rest of the season until Mahinmi gets well. Mahinmi is a risk that they take on
Chandler/Williams/Mahinmi
Chriss/Bender
Booker/Warren/Jones Jr.
Irving/Barbosa
Wall/Ulis/Price
Cavs trade: Irving
Cavs get: Bledsoe/Tucker
Cavs add depth. Lebron has moaned about depth on the roster. Bledsoe replaces Irving (at less shots), while Tucker is the backup PF/SF they need who can give them real minutes. They can then resign him in the offseason. He's a better option than Korver at the moment.
Wizards trade: Wall/Mahimni
Wizards get: Knight/Dudley/Len/Suns 2017 First
Wizards for some reason tank for the season. Knight is the PG they dont need...while Dudley costs them money they shouldnt spend. Len gets resigned for more money than he's worth, but they can draft a franchise PG who can lead the team when everyone is too old to make sense anymore.
But for reals: This team right now relies HEAVILY on the starters as they have no bench. Len gives them C depth NOW, much like Dudley at the SF. Knight can hold the fort for a year or two as well. This team lacks depth, and they gain it now.
I could possibly see this trade is reasonable if they hadnt gone on a tear after starting horrid.

But why for the Wolves? Tucker is that PO calibur player. He does nothing for a team that has fighting for the 8th seed only to be swept by the Warriors.
2 weeks ago we were talking about how Tucker means nothing and how we shouldnt be going for the 8th seed. Minny is in the same boat. They are young and making the playoffs means little. Adding Tucker barely moves the barometer for them.
For us, does Shabazz warrant anything? He might make us a little better, but then we have to resign him. We'll have to pay him starter money, while also hoping Warren deserves starter minutes. Spending a bunch of money on both Len/Shabazz in the offseason means that we have complete confidence in a roster of:
Len/Chandler
Chriss/Bender
Shabazz/Warren/Dudley
Booker/Knight
Bledsoe/Ulis
There is very little to work with after that. What do we spend our lotto pick on? We will basically have committed on our future lineup after that. I dont feel like that trade make sense for either team.

Man why you asking me? This was just a trade that apparently the Suns denied.

Shabazz is only 24, he'll be a restricted free agent so if he doesn't get any offers we could keep him another year and him and TJ can battle it out for the starting SF spot. Or he might get crappy offers and then we just match it. Or he gets some crazy deal and we lose him, no big deal because Tucker was a free agent too.
I just see the potential that he could have, and it's low risk high reward. Where as PJ puts in his effort, and we play him which means we aren't playing the young guys. I just don't see the harm in trading for him, again if there are no offers of PJ for a 1st.

After watching his highlight reel from last year, I would say he is definitely a perfect complimentary player for Bledsoe/Booker. He knows how to slash, and he can spot up for three. I think I would do it.
Where's Kerrsed. I know he wanted us to tank for him.

Remember all the concerns we had about him coming into the league and being an offensive black hole? Let's do a quick comparison
2015-2016 season
Shabazz Muhammad - 1,682 minutes played - 52 assists
Tyson "Pistol" Chandler - 1,618 minute played - 64 assists
Mirza Teletovic aka "No-Look" aka "6-Shooter" aka "Unconscious" - 1,686 minutes played - 89 assists

He's tied his season high of assist this year 3 times though.
His season high is 2 assist...

Big no to Shabazz. If were hunting for an SF id much rather draft Josh Jackson and keep Bled.
Tucker should net us a late first/early second no problem.

Shabaz accentuates everything that is bad about the Suns. I am not saying he is a bad player, he is just horrible for the Suns. We need team passing and unselfishness.

If that rumor is true, it sounds like we have nothing to worry about. The trade didn't happen.
Minny would want Tucker because he could fit Thibs' system. They'd also have the edge to re-sign him. It wouldn't surprise me if the Suns' brass have the same concerns about Shabazz that everyone here does

Please trade Tucker, McD. He's the face of the bad 6 year stretch we've had.

Shabazz is a better 3 pt shooter, but Warren is FAR better defensively, and Warren is just an avg defender. Look at DBPM under advanced stats here. Also BPM and per 36 steals.
