I personally have no interest in Shabazz, but why trade for him unless you specifically have intentions to pay him this summer, might as well let Tucker finish his contract or get a long term asset like a 1st round pick out of him. Furthermore, Bazz is a scorer, in my opinion, in our system, with the fact that he is more aggressive, would be as or more effective than Tj Warren. So if you trade Tucker for Bazz it should also mean you plan to pay him AND you plan to put Tj Warren in an outgoing package for assets.

Sum up, I wouldn't do it, rather get a pick for Tucker, you can just Sign Bazz in the offseason if you have interest, we ain't hurtin for money. Secondly if you do that trade, I also trade Warren in a second trade.

If we had Shabaz on on our roster the disdain for him would one day rival that of Brandon Knight.

Shabazz is interesting. He has the potential to really cut loose in Phoenix given our system.

But you risk taking a positive locker room influence (Tucker) and replacing it with a neutral (or even negative one).

As far as money goes, someone will offer Tucker 4/60mil especially if he makes all defensive team. :banghead:

But I really think Bazz could get a similar offer. :banghead:

JR Smith signed for 4/57m
Allen Crabb signed for 4/75m
Miles Plumlee signed 4/50m

Someone WILL throw money at Tucker and someone WILL offer Shabazz a large offer in hopes the Wolves don't match.

It's a collective amnesia the symptoms of which, unfortunately, are exhibited by TJ himself. :-?

Pistons fan here wondering what it would take to get Brandon Knight back on the team that drafted him!

Given that Zack Lowe stated in his recent piece about Bledsoe confirmed that no one in the league wants Knight, your offer is about right. However, I think some kind of first back in exchange for the embattled combo guard would be needed in any deal.

Thinking a 2020 or 2021 lottery protected first that eventually conveys two seconds would work.

Wonder if the suns can find a deal with Cleveland. Id love to grab Cedi Osman from them.

Barbosa or tucker straight up for osman?

Or maybe a larger deal with chandler and barbosa to Cleveland for thompson and osman?

At this rate we need to trade Knight/Tucker for near their value and focus on more important deals. McD better not wait for teams to call him before the deadline. We need to be active if we are considering trading our 2017 #1 for a star player.

The good news is that McD knows how to clear cap space. I'm all for patience but this is starting to get ridiculous. Every season we have this conversation which is insane.

I would do the trade, but I don't get the fascination with Bazz either. His advanced numbers are truly awful. I wouldn't expect him to ever be much more than a solid bench player, and I am not worried about his next deal. I don't think demand is high for him league-wide. Accordingly, I'd rather have a pick than Bazz.

I guess we have a soft spot on Shabazz because he always kills us. In every single game.

Talk about brutal. W's are waiving Varejao. He should have taken the ring the Cavs offered him last year. I could see the Cavs consider signing him and waiving Anderson.

Value wise Shabazz for PJ is not a bad deal but I don't want to be the team that pays him this summer. Would rather hold on to Tucker and let him expire or re-sign him for cheap.

Same I'd rather try my luck with a pick closer to the deadline or some other young guy not getting minutes. Tucker has been playing pretty well lately, the demand is there for him.

Plus I will always say it, if we are involved and the rumors hit the the media it's a dead deal.

Can you imaging missing a ring with the Cavs, then missing a ring with the W's, then going back and missing a ring with the Cavs again?

Shabazz ia still getting better and younger than Tucker. Thats 2 reasons why he fits the Suns gping forward.

But he doesnt play defense as well as Tucker.... But he'll fit right in... Almost no one plays defense on the Suns. Worst points against in the league, bottom 3 in a lot of defensive ratings. So people trying to justify defense... Dont worry, the Suns are still stock piling potential stars rather than specialists that established teams do.

But it probably means Warren is being shopped.
Which is a shame.
Warren was the Suns best player in the first 20 games... He looked like a mini Durant out there. But then that mysterious injury, probably got lobotomized by how things sound and the way he plays lately it might not be that far off. What the heck happened??? And when will he shake it off.

Why would another team offering to swap SFs mean that Warren is being shopped?
