Ox and Theo are just too limited to start together. Iwobi even though he missed that great chance has to start. He's the only guy we have that can sustain and recycle possession in the attacking third. Ox and Theo are so limited technically it hurts my soul.

Tough loss today, just when it looked like things were starting to click for us. I'm hoping Ozil and Alexis ink new deals soon. Need to continue to put talent around them if we're going to win the league.

Started off well, but for the most part, Arsenal were crap. Deserved win for Manchester City.

The league seems weaker than last season.

Down 3 to comeback to draw is job well done, but it should have never got to that point. Perez sub was massive, seemed to change the game.

IS Sanchez gone according to Arsenal fans?
From an outsider, I would consider Sanchez to be gone after this summer and Ozil 50/50

"tried to sign" = euphemism for "couldn't be bothered."
To Dare Is To Do? 13 League Titles. You've only got 2.

Recorded the game and watched it earlier, that was pitiful. Not that I expected a win, but they looked so poor out there. So many turnovers in midfield, bad defending, inconsistent offensive flow in attack. And Wenger needs to STFU about players he could've got, it's beyond ridiculous at this point.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread 3.0
Never posted on the soccer forum before, but there is one thing pissing me off about Arsenal that I need to get off my chest, and this seems like the best place to do it.
"Wenger admits Arsenal can't afford Mbappe"
Wenger: "He is already in the category of clubs who perhaps have more options than we have financially."
This line of logic seems to be completely acceptable to both international media and Arsenal fans alike, and it is complete BS. Arsenal is the 5th richest club on the planet! They have more money than Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, and every other club in England except Man United!
"Oh, but Chelsea and City have super-rich multi-billionaire owners."
So do Arsenal! Stan Kroenke's net worth is $7.4 billion. Alisher Usmanov's net worth is $14.4 billion.
It is absolutely absurd for Arsenal Football club to ever think a transfer target--outside of say Messi, or Ronaldo--is "unaffordable," particularly if that player is not "unaffordable" for City or Chelsea.
Now, in Mbappe's case, it seems he may go to Madrid, who indeed have more money than Arsenal (and everybody else). But still, the transfer targets Arsenal seeks do not nearly match either the financial resources of the club or its supposed ambitions.
Summer transfer targets right now should include guys like:
Mbappe (Monaco)
Dembele (Dortmund)
Weigl (Dortmund)
Griezmann (Atletico)
Rodriguez (Madrid)
Dybala (Juventus)
Donnaruma (Milan)
They should be satisfied with no less than two of these players.
Of course, all of those guys are "too expensive" for Arsenal, unless they can convince Madrid to drop Rodriguez for pennies on the dollar.

I think Wenger is right. it's not about the money, some players will now see Arsenal as too small a club. If they don't make the CL they will have a restricted pool of quality talent available.
