The pelicans were in a great position to put Noel next to Davis, tank a couple more years, then have a dynasty for a decade (Davis is one of the best players in the league). Their general manager committed crimes against basketball worse than EG.

Regarding Davis, I think he is awesome offensively... however I don't think he can be your anchor defensively yet. He seems a bit unaware on rotations... could be injuries still miring him but he is a juggernaut when healthy... unfortunately it seems something is constantly nagging him :/

Kinda amazing we won even though we played like ass for 2.5 quarters.

I think it's a travesty that he's universally considered a better player than Wall.

He's clearly hurt. He wasn't running well out there and he settled for a lot of jumpers which he made.

When he's healthy he is impactful... he also doesn't have the right cast around him. Or he doesn't have much chemistry with the group there.

Exactly.

Jrue Holiday is the only above-average teammate, & he isn't the most durable guy either.

The roster and coaching New Orleans put around Davis is malpractice.

Put him on this Washington team and he'd win multiple MVPs for us.

Davis is pretty amazing, but I'm glad his injuries slowed him down by the fourth. Wall really closed out well again. He's really looking the all-star part these days.

Was thinking the same thing. One play too late, and he knew it. His heart wasn't in it.

Davis is 8th in the league in DRPM. He is a beast surrounded by garbage. He is averaging 28/12 on the season and is 2nd in the league in blocks. He is on pace to go down as an all time great but like others have said his GM is the suck.

So, if Davis is our PF, you are saying we would win the east? :)

If Morris stays as the bench PF with Jason as the third PF/C I would say yeah.

Wall, Beal, Otto, AD, Gortat sounds like a nightmare for anyone in the league.

We have a top 10 offense + defense already, if we added Davis we'd probably be top 3-5 in both categories

Wall/Beal/Porter/Davis/Gortat
Wall/Beal/Porter/Oubre/Davis (death lineup)

Yeah I'd give that squad at least 50/50 vs the Cavs - and even higher with each subsequent year of Lebron's decline.

Yes, academic as it may be, add Davis without giving up anyone and we win the East and perhaps the whole thing.

Just went back and rewatched last five minutes. I bow down to John Wall. Man he was a beast on both ends. We are fortunate to be witnessing this.

While I was wrong (pretty well officiated game and a loss); Cleveland (unexpectedly to me) brought their A-game.
