So.. last night, after Devin Booker's game winner, Earl Watson and Demarcus Cousins exchanged some words. It was very strange. I see the word "trade" but unclear with what he says.

Watson had a run in with Cousins as a player, I don't think they like each other, probably just some trash talk.

Jokes aside - do the Wolves need another top 5-6 pick? Especially when they have just drafted a PG (plus have a possibly good one buried on the bench), and they have Wiggins and LaVine and Muhamad on the wing? Couldn't we work out something with them?
Or they will draft BPA and worry later? Or reach for Markkanen?

Wolves can't trade their pick because they traded their 2018 pick for Adrian Payne ( ). They could draft someone and immediately trade them though. Don't think the Suns have anything they want except Chriss or Bender. I bet Thibs wants PJ and Tyson, but not for that drafted player.

Would you guys do Bledsoe for Monroe and the Bucks 2017 1st unprotected, and 2021 1st unprotected? I highly doubt it matters that it's unprotected since Giannis and Parker are both under 23 and Middleton is only 25.
Not sure I would do it for the Suns.

Well we just gave up 137 points to a subpar bucks team, so I can't imagine anything being much worse. Booker and Chriss are a wash, Parker and Bender isn't going to be much worse than Warren and Chandler, and the rook like all of these guys will grow defensively over time.

And you're allowed to.


But Parker is significantly younger, putting up borderline star numbers already and could only get better sooner. So there are people out there, many people too, who can feel justified in feeling that Parker is worth more than Bledsoe.

So this trade is to dump Brandon Knight for a future 1st. For the Wizards side, it makes a lot of sense. They need some fire power off their bench desperately. They all need insurance on Beal/Wall because they are so injury prone. They are probably the 2nd best team in the East right now and this trade doesn't affect their chemistry all that much as Smith/Burke weren't getting heavy minutes off their bench anyway. I feel like the Suns might be selling low here, but we get a late 1st round pick that we could possibly package with the Heat 2018 1st to move up a spot or two.

I doubt Wiz would bite unless we took Nicholson off of their hands. Smith has been actually a useful player for them.
