I don't think you'd be able to get more than a 2nd round pick for a low dollar expiring contract.
Teams aren't going to trade value for that type of contract unless it legitimately puts them in position to challenge the Warriors. The only team he would have that type of impact on may not want him back.
The Heat would get more value through player development and hoping for the best from him.
