Exactly the kind of GM I'd hope would be interested.

That puts Okafor's value at a late 1st. Sad to see what has happened to him. i think it is a smart gamble by NO.

Woj Bombing runs this early?

Jamaican Jodie Meeks or picks? The rest of their roster is garbage or Anthony Davis. I'm more than willing to take the latter but somehow I doubt thats on the board lol.

top 5 protected is fine, top 10 no sorry.

I don't want asik if they don't give a good first.

No way I take Asik back. Dude is making 10 mil a year guaranteed through 2019 and racking up DNPs on the Pelicans. Ajinca is more reasonable at 2 more years of 5 mil a piece.

agree.
I don't want to eat the asik contract for a top 10 protected first round.

I think the best option is to do lotto protected for a couple years, but eventually completely unprotected in like 2020, 2021, or 2022.

We can gauge how close we are to trading him by if he plays tonight or not...

I wouldn't go for the lottery protection depending how long it lasts. This year only and top 5 next year, sure. Otherwise no thanks, especially with a bad contract attached.

Anjica's contract is not a problem: you can stretch him easily if needed

How is Ajinca? If I remember correctly he played well against us earlier this year.

Yes to eating Ajinca, HELL NO to eating Asik.

If we eat Ajinca, I'd be ok with lottery protected 2017, as long as the protection goes down over time and ends unprotected. Say, top 10 protected 2018, top 5 protected 2019, unprotected 2020.
