Harden is hard to watch sometimes....I think this play should disqualify him for MVP..give the award to Westbrook or Thomas and call it a day.

And sorry this won't disqualify him from winning the MVP. When he has another 40 or 50 point triple double all will be forgotten/forgiven. I love how a handful of people take one play from a game and say this can't be the MVP and he is so hard to watch right after he drops 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in a game they looked certain to lose. Yeah that guy is hard to watch.

I can't agree with all the outrage being directed at Harden. The guy is constantly being physically denied the ball because he's such an offensive weapon and it's damn frustrating! So he does some nutty things like flopping ridiculously or jumping on backs(different things really, this isn't a flop).

The outrage should be directed 100% at the league and the officials. Now we have 3 instances in this thread of him trying to lay on top of another guy(the one involving Curry was the strangest because Harden was on defense). The league should sit every ref down and show them this footage and say, "When you see this happen, automatic flagrant 1 on Harden(or anyone else that does this for that matter), no questions asked."

If the league was responsible enough to do this then Harden would cut out the behavior.

This is really disgusting, but that's already been played out in here. The real tragedy is how terrible NBA games are officiated. I remember the Hornets Warriors game the other week. Great game through three quarters, then in the fourth there was a whistle on every possession. Sucked all the life out of everyone. It needs to get better.

Note: I shouldn't have to say this, but I'm sure I do. I'm not blaming the refs for losing that game. I blame the refs for ruining a good game.

That's like saying we shouldn't be mad at politician because they got voted in. The day bad sportsmanship stops getting criticised is the day I'll stop watching sport, I don't care how good he is. I don't even dislike him as a person, not at all. But yes the refs should be drawing more heat.

I'm sorry, but this is not coming from a single play. I don't watch the rockets that much (15-20 games a year), but it seems to happen quite regularly. Let's not fool ourselves, it's not overreaction over one single play, dude just can't stay honest to the game.

Yes, everyone does to some extent. You can't find videos of every player doing it but to some extent they all do.
