Really shows how bad Reggie's decline has handcuffed our team.

Reggie's decline is because of his bad knee, and it's not getting better. Hope they shut him down, whether he likes it or not, before he ruptures a tendon or does other really serious damage. Surgery is no sure cure, but it looks more and more inevitable. The platelet treatment didn't do much this time apparently. I doubt you could get much for him in a trade.
Sadly, this is a story that might have "legs" for some time.

I hope it isn't his knee and just his constant poor judgement with hero ball.

For those that have more free time than I do:

Can you check EVERY line up featuring RJ that has played more than 30 games:

1 - how many have a positive offensive rating

2 - how many have a reasonable defensive rating

I'm guessing you'd be looking at a lot of different line ups...but very few (if any) would be reasonable

I hope not. Smart players can alter their game due to physical limitations. Bad decision makers just keep on being bad decision makers.

I have to agree with ImHeisenberg, if it's something physically wrong, there's hope that he can recover and improve, if it's a mental problem, there is little hope of it getting turned around. Look at Antonio McDyess, he was not the same player after his injury, not even close, but he was still an effective, useful player because he adjusted his game.

I had that same hope, but so far he just doesn't seem to be progressing. He goes to the bench and has that huge wrap on the knee, and seems to come up gimpy with alarming frequency. ImH is right though, he could adjust his game. Although he has been struggling some of late, he has a pretty good stroke. If he'd concentrate on ball movement and taking good shots it would be better, but that doesn't seem consistent with how he sees himself as a player. I'd love to have him prove me wrong.
