I wonder if that poster saying Jokic never covers anyone will be watching this game? Jokic will be matching up to Nowitzki without a doubt IMO. Their forwards are too quick. On the other hand, Dirk likes to roam outside on offense. That should be interesting to see how the Nuggets handle that matchup.

Anyone ready to predict this game? It seems like a fairly straight forward Nuggets win, but somehow, I seem to have lost some faith even with Jokic playing. <sigh> We just seem to know how to lose more often than we know how to win and we seem to lose to teams we should beat and sometimes we beat teams we should lose to (but not too often on that one).

I saw Nurkic @ Crepes n Crepes on 16th this morning. Lol. He was polite to the wait staff but was talking on his cell phone super loud.

Anybody catch why Mudiay and Faried are out tonight?

Without Jokic on the court this team needs Murray, Gallo, or even Mudiay on the court, especially with the biggest guy being Arthur. INstead we get Nelson and the guys just take turns standing around and chucking 3 pointers and iso plays. Nelson is not a slashing PG, he is a PNR PG and cannot get into the lane to draw defenders without a big setting picks.

That first half was a thing of beauty. If only Will Barton could play that well consistently.

I missed the game but saw some highlights. Nurkic and Jokic played together? Was Malone taking a piss break or something? Did it actually work with the offense running through Jokic?

the argument can be made that the best the team looked last night was with Nurkic, Jokic, Hernan-Gomez, Barton, and Murray on the court together. Too bad Malone will not play Nurkic more, as that team shut down things on the defensive end and offense was not a problem, allowing them to grow the lead quickly.

Some people "talk" on their cell phone so that people will leave them alone. 8-)

All right; I was unable to watch the game last night and am just now finishing the game off my precious DVR --- man do I love that invention!

Very nice win! That's great! :) Wow!
Barton had a great game!
Hernangomez got 18 min - you know I love that
Murray only got 18 min - you know I hate that :banghead:

What was bizarre?
Chandler played 40 minutes in a total blowout?
Harris played 37 minutes in a total blowout? :noway:
Nelson played 32 minutes in a total blowout? :nonono:
They should have all played fewer minutes - no question.

Nurkic only played 5 minutes in a total blowout?
Beasley got less than two minutes? The same as Miller & O'Bryant??
They should have both played more minutes. :banghead:

Playing against the same guys every day in practice develops bad habbits because you pretty much know what they are going to do. Plus coach doesn't want his scrubs playing too hard because a star might be injured. Playing against another team helps you learn how other players play.
