anyone see the highlights of the Mavs / Blazers game? not exactly two headlining teams but it was a really good game and Evan Turner broke his hand. I feel bad that he got hurt, but I cant help but laugh at the Blazers for giving him that contract.

CJ hit the Blazers last three shots including the game winning floater with .3 seconds left, after getting a tough and-1 the possession before that

The Magic can still straighten it out, but they have to realize that Ibaka is not the answer, and he needs to go. That Vucevic is not a starter, and that he would be better elsewhere. And that Hezonja is a bust, and he needs to be gone.

Awesome back and forth at the end of that game. Only wish Dallas pulled it out (for tank purposes), but oh well. Yeah, CJ keeps getting better. What a great (offensive) player.

Isn't that basically blowing it up? I mean, I agree that is what they should do.

Jabari Parker hurt his same ACL knee as he did a couple years ago tonight in a very similar way. Didn't look good.

Damn.. Jabari I'm rooting to excel in the league. He was making huge strides. Hope he bounces back.

It's ironic that they passed on Embiid because of injury history, and now look what's happened. It shows that luck (good or bad) is a major factor. That's why Hinkie's approach was the best. Take A LOT of shots at getting superstar players because you never know what will happen. Some will bust. Some will get injured. And hopefully, some will make it.

I'm not sure anyone ever thought that the Magic were ahead or even with us other than Magic fans.

They have had zero stars the whole time. Nothing has changed other than the bloom is off the rose for some of their young prospects. As usual in these cases, they should have tanked, and didn't.

Now they are in the same spot where they were 5 years ago with nothing to show for it.

They have some nice young players, but no difference makers, and that is the problem.

And it's ironic that Kristaps Porziņģis agent did not want anything to do with the 76ers because the 76ers were a mess but the Knicks !!!!

Wonder what kinda ersan deal we could do with them to try to replace some of his production?

Would assume they go tank route? maybe not with giannis still ballin and monroe playing well. But they are going to need something theyve been pretty bad for the last few weeks.

They would be complete idiots if they don't tank this season. They are in serious danger of becoming the next SAC or NO with 1 superstar and not much help around him. They desperately need another player with star potential.

F Kristy. Hope he rots away and plays his entire career for a loser. I'll truly enjoy watching us pound his azz for the next 15 years on the way to multiple championships, while he never wins anything.

Jokic had 40 last night. Wow, this kid is good.

Denver may have found their first star player, which is a game changer for their current rebuild.

I love Jokic, but he is so brutal on defense. Just so brutal.

He's not a terrible rebounder at least, and he might be so good on offense he's worth it. But he will once again put to the test the idea of your big man being your best player on offense and worst defender and see how well it works.

Nuggets are in a position that they can craft a defense around him as well, which is a plus. They have plenty of players and assets to tweak things around him.

Denver ought to consider offering Gallinari for Ibaka. Tweak either way as needed. Helps both teams.

Or secondarily they could play Jokic at PF and find a defensive C who fits with him. Noel?
