Nobody is saying or said either of those things. Skiles was tough on our players and Vogel needs to do the same, two completely different things. He doesn't have the luxury of having a PG to lean on as a leader on the floor. We don't have a vocal leader on the floor and I can only guess its a reflection of what the locker room is like. Im not advocating for anyone to be a prick or even saying that Skiles is a better coach, but his methods worked as he almost always had a top tier defense.

Meh..I agree. it was a nice sentiment from Ryno but we need elite players on this team. On paper Biyombo made sense but he's not playing up to his contract currently. To me that's undisputable at the moment.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the fans who said the following at public events / press conferences over the summer:

"We're going to win and we're going to have fun winning."

"Who's ready to make the playoffs?!" (in a loud, get the crowd going kinda way)

Management has set expectations. I was quite happy to keep rebuilding for the next couple of years at least until we get a guy or guys to properly build around.

No he doesn't at all. Biz makes even less sense to a team that already has a center on a long term contract like we did. That's why everyone in the NBA clowned us for signing him to that contract. Ryno may not be in a championship class of players but Dj Augustine, Jeff green, && Bismack Biyombo most certainly aren't either.

If your goal is to wait for a True Superstar, then this team may end up at the bottom of the league for another 10 years in addition to the 5 we already wasted. GM's who just tank and pray to god to win a superstar most of the time end up being losers for years on end never winning jack crap. well said. I am not upset about losing Harris. I am upset at the bad trade of him. We definitely should have gotten back more and by all reports, SVG was ready and willing to give more. Dipo was an interesting trade. I understand the move, the rest of the team just didnt play well enough to make it pay off. but the Biz signing was horrible at his price. We overpaid by $5-7mil/yr easy, especially for his production.

The renewal package showed up today and the annual letter that goes out with it was pretty sad, they did their best to gloss over anything about performance. Its basically just pushing the "experience" and "making memories". Sucks that its down to this
