GT: Pacers vs Wizards Feb 10, 2:00 AM

Post#1 » by Tricky_Kid » Thu Feb 9, 2017 11:04 pm

OK as always I will try to do GT fast. I wish I had skills of doing funny Gifs like Raptors or Heat fans but whatever.

Wizards won last game after dissapointing performance against Nets. Two bright spots were Beal and Otto who was huge on the glass especially in OT. Brooks and Wall both were terrible.

Still win is a win we need to do it one thing:

Morris will be out for Wizards and Young for Pacers.

I couldn't resist and need to mention yesterday's Celtics loss in Sacramento without Cousins, Gay and Lawson who was injuried during the game. 2nd best team in east ?

From Jimmy Kimmel ;)

And last but not least my picks for good luck charm. I know we probably lose this one but still...

Go Wizards !!!

Something strange happened at work today. Everyone there knows i am a Wizards fan since i have a Wizards lunchbag and sometimes wear a jersey on casual day. A guy i have passed in the walkways for years and never really talked to stopped me today out of the blue and started asking me about the Wizards. He had a bunch of questions and i ended up talking about 15 minutes giving him the rundown on the Wizards.

I guess at this point we might have to build a bandwagon for the newcomers.

From now on the tip-off time in game threads should always be given in CET (Central European Time).

Y'all it's at 8:00 p.m. EST. Game is on ESPN (and Comcast Sportsnet). I think John Wall's concern about the Wiz not catching national TV games may be assuaged as the season goes on. Even in the loss, the Cavs/Wiz game made for compelling TV. Programmers want that.

Go Wizards!! Time to start another home winning streak!

If Morris is out in this one I wonder if Smith gets the start at PF and Oubre goes back to his normal 6th man role. Smith has a solid corner 3pt shot, but is only able to get it off when he plays with Wall. Mahinmi would get all of the backup center minutes.

I don't know about that but yesterday I've been in this place called Greenwich, quite close to my client's office. You know, Greenwich Meridian Line ... Prime Meridian ... the one that Chester Arthur, POTUS back in 1880s, approved as the official prime meridian.

Just sayin'.

A Chester Arthur fact in the game thread. Nice. The Jason Smith of American presidents.

This has happened to me more as well.

We went out to lunch earlier in the week, and a couple of the guys who normally only talk Skins or Caps were bringing up the Wiz , and the crazy game on Monday. That Cavs game was big national news and was the lead-in for a lot of sports talk shows, it was probably the best thing that could have happened for the team's visibility.

Since it'll be on BOTH ESPN and CSN, what feed are all the locals going to be watching??
