So Crowder averages 14-5-2. I've said since early this season after the CLE game Brown could approximate his production if given starter minutes. Not because of JB entirely but because that isn't that impressive. Laughter ensued. Brown's PER is 13-6-1.5 so not far off from Jae's PER. Proof to me, but still people say he's not ready. Well, here he is for the 2nd time starting in Crowder's place (1st being vs CLE when he got 19-5-2 and they actually ran plays for him!!) and he's got 14-7-2 tonight. Is he still not worthy?

So are there still people who claim he isn't ready? I read it every game thread despite all this proof. Actual evidence versus subjective opinions. Kid is special folks. Jump on the bandwagon already. Enough with "he sucks"...."he isn't ready" b.s. Yes he gets sloppy and he deserved to be benched yesterday for making stupid mistakes over and over, but you accept that so he eventually learns and earns a starting role or is so desirable, teams want to send top 15-20 players to us for him, like Butler, Cousins, or George.

Great 2nd half by Jaylen Brown...looks like it's finally starting to slow down for him.

It was a good game no doubt but this type of game has been very typical for the Blazers this year, play close all game and blow it in the last 4-8 minutes.

He wasn't ready at the start of the season, he's getting there now

I feel like you could keep both and win if your GM didn't go all dumpster fire with the contracts on the roster

But they have and they'll have to choose 1 eventually.

Lol I mean I don't think we'd necessarily have to choose 1, I'd prefer to keep both but if I had to pick one or the other it's cj for me.

Simply put basketball iq. lillard is talented without a doubt but he tries to play too much hero ball which leads him to take stupid sometimes highly contested shots at crucial points in games. Yes Lillard is probably better than CJ talent wise but cj is smarter and a better team player

I assumed we would lose this one bad if lot of players did not step up. Thank God they stepped up. Really good win.
