Game 54: Pistons (25-28) vs. Spurs (40-12) - 7:30 PM EST

Post#1 » by whitehops » Thu Feb 9, 2017 4:08 pm

we're starting to play better ball, we're 10-8 in 2017 and 7-4 in our last 11 games. the spurs though are the spurs and will be a big challenge. kawhi is an offensive machine this year and aldridge always gives us troubles.

go pistons!

Spurs have always been my second favorite team to watch play. This will be a tough game but who knows.

This would be a nice win. We have a tough 3 game stretch - Spurs, at Toronto, and back-to-back the next night at Milwaukee.

Let's compete this game. If we lose, we lose but at least compete with the Spurs to let me know these last few wins weren't just us beating teams that aren't trying.

The Aldridge type is a reason why we have Leur right? I'll be watching to see if he can slow down Aldridge at all.

If Dre shows up like he did last game, its a matter of whether

1.) our team defensively shows up
2.) our pg's mitigate there TO's.

George Blaha gets to be honored tmrw too. Maybe the guys will pull out a win for him. That man is worth at least an early second round/late first pick lol

Probably worry about Pau more. I'm not sure Aldridge did much in our earlier match up this year, but Pau started off like 6-6 or some ****

Pau should be out with the finger though. Dedmon and Lee have covered his minutes. Maybe Dre can bully em

I was thinking he might be out, he's old, lol. Maybe we can pull this out. That would be nice

We can win if we out-hustle them.

These guys owe us a streak of games to be played with effort and grit.

Damn it man. Now he might just have a beastly game, I think he has them ever once in awhile. Just a big man the Spurs got, he plays alright nothing special imo

Played college at USC. Has played for the Magic also. Not a scorer. Hustles, blocks shots and rebounds. He and Tony Parker are developing a nice pick and roll but he really isn't much of an offensive threat.

Why do we think these hook shots are the way to go?
