I gave up drinking booze 40 days ago.

I don't regret it one bit. Only problem is, a few shots of JD and a beer got me through these games. now? god help me

The Nets make me wish I hadn't given up pot many years ago. I now realize how I made it through some of these seasons. :noway:

dude i'd smoke during those games, especially the 12-70 season and following. Only way i was able to enjoy it.

When you go from seeing Kidd's two final teams & Kidd/VC teams play competitive NORMAL BASKETBALL for several years, and then degrade into the 12-70/D-Will years to here we are now, you can understand why someone would chose to engage in substance abuse while watching this garbage. Its straight up masochism.

I mean, I know this is a necessary evil for the new regime, but my god the Nets have put out a horrific product over nearly a decade.

Even when we were "good" in the first two Brooklyn years the product sucked because of the unlikeable atmosphere that came with D-Will and the constant games where the team flat out quit. You think I was sober watching those Christmas day blowouts? My eyes were as red as a bad christmas sweater by 2pm

 I remember that horrible Christmas game. It truly felt like rock bottom.

Hey, atleast we aren't the Knicks. Chris Paul, Wade, Doc Rivers, LeBron, and now NBPA have now all spoken out against the Knicks/MSG organization...before this.

I'm not going excuse Oakley's behavior because I think he was **** faced to be honest, but the Knicks are only emboldened enough to do this stuff because the Nets aren't real competition for them in New York. If we had a consistent, viable, good product (which in all fairness, this is what they are trying to build towards now), the Knicks would think twice not only about this stunt, but the crap they are pulling with Melo right now as well. I don't care what anyone thinks about Melo as a player, the way that Phil Jackson is carrying on is atrocious.

It says to me that Dolan knows that the asses will be in seats regardless of what he does, and what Jackson trots out there, so there is no repercussion for doing this. If the Nets didn't piss away a few years kissing D-Will's ass, things might have been different, maybe not. Either way, they can do this and not have to worry because the same fans appalled by Oakley being made into a pariah will be buying those tickets on stub hub come next season.

Play Brook at 3 point line. If Whiteside doesn't come out shoot the 3 . If he comes out pass to cutter for drive

KA is too robotic. Pulls all starters out with 5 min left in qtr. Brook was hot with 13 points but 4 Miami players played more than him.

He's done well against Hassan Whiteside-Lopez.
