Embiid at the Meek Mill concert tonight dancing on stage, taking his shirt off, partying it up. I absolutely love it.

I hope it's a direct spiteful move right at management. You know damn well Embiid has been campaigning to play and they've been telling him no. Seeing him publicly dance around at a concert does nothing but make the FO look bad, and I'll take them looking bad any chance I get.

PARTY IT UP, BIG GUY!

It was on his Instagram, as I've said, I think he's fine and extra caution is being taken to allow us to showcase our other bigs before trade deadline while also allowing us to tank - that's more of a side effect, tho.

Yeah. I think he could play if it were the playoffs but they may as well let the bone bruise heal.

Holding him out:
1) lets us get an extended look at Jah and Noel before the trade deadline.
2) Maybe let teams get a look at Jah and Noel.
3) Losing games may not be a bad thing since this is very possibly our last lottery pick with our own pick for a while.
4) No reason risking an injury aggravation in a playoffless season.

To the contrary, they are:
1) screwing over ticket paying fans by not being forthright about his availability.
2) losing on-court developmental minutes for Embiid.

I think the benefits of holding him out are beneficial to us for Embiid's health and increasing value of other assets.

Again, I'm sure he could play with a bone bruise that is pretty much healed, but I'm ok with it because I don't go to games anyway and see the benefits of being cautious.

he is not playing against the heat?

Come on, we had to wait 2 years to see him play and he is just amazing and then all of a sudden they don't let him play. He seems fine and I'm sure he could play. I want the Process back on the court! I am just so sad :(

I'm hyped to see grainy video of a Sixers center with a history of debilitating injuries dancing like a madman. My what a difference 5 years makes.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Enough with the dramatic trolling. The thread is for serious discussions and not ridiculous takes.

He is going to be great for commercials going forward. Superstar game, superstar personality, and and no negative baggage at all.

They are full of it. The guy is running, jumping, dunking, shooting in practice. If he was in pain, he wouldn't be doing that. Don't be so naive! Think, and have an open mind! Don't be a shill for the organization.

Guarantee you he's perfectly fine, and the "extra precaution" is simply to lose extra games for lotto positioning.

As usual, you fly off the handle and and freak out over nothing. Let's just add that you think Embiid is lying about his injury now, to you thinking that Brown should be fired.

I think the Sixers are lying, not Embiid. Embiid thinks he can play just fine. He proved that vs Houston.

And I'm sorry but 1-30 and 4-18 were not "nothing."

Uh oh, Embiid is now lying apparently too. He is talking about his knee swelling up, and how he isn't healthy. Oh the tangled web we weave.

I can't believe the level of outrage by fans because Embiid was dancing lol. People have lost their damn minds. Yeah because he can't play means he can't dance lol.

Feel like there's more outrage about the outrage than actual outrage.
