I think the market may be a little better then expected, especially the closer we get to the deadline.

Especially with Atlanta coming out and saying they have no interest in doing anything significant. Millsap's availability is obviously detrimental to Ibaka's market, but it's looking like Ibaka will be the most appealing big out there and there are a lot of teams that could use some frontcourt help.

I don't expect that we will get back anything near what we paid for him, but I certainly expect to receive something intriguing. A late first and a lottery ticket seems attainable.

We traded Dipo and a late lottery pick. We need to get back at least a Dipo level prospect back. That's the way I look at it. I'm also not convinced that we should trade him if he's willing to stick around. He's the best player we have. Unless we can recoup a significant amount of what we traded, I would be explorations for keeping him. Obviously, he needs to be traded if he isn't going to resign.

Yup.... the only reason i am shopping him is he wants to go that badly and is not planning on resigning. This has been a hrrible season for us and he has been a lone bright spot. Add a young stud.... make an appropriate signing and pray to whatever God you believe in that things click in our youngsters heads. BUT if a great deal slides across the desk.... I ain't mad at it. haha

The way I see it is if the return is not at least a top 20 pick this year, I don't trade him, I try to resign him and go from there. By resigning him he gains value again as most of the reasons people don't want to deal for him is because of the free agency issue. So we re-evaluate next year and go from there.

The first trade I'd make is with boston.
Boston in: serge ibaka and Evan Fournier
Magic in: Jaylen brown, amir Johnson, Tyler Zeller and Boston 1st this year (not Brooklyn's picks because I don't see them giving those up)

I think that Boston could very well compete with Cleveland with this trade.

For us we get a young player in brown who we can throw out there and see what he is made of.

The next trade I would make would be with portland.

Portland in: vooch

Orlando in: festus ezeli, noah vonleh and 2017 first.

I think Portland's pick could be in between 12-20 which would be nice to have in this draft especially if we wanted to package are picks to move up in the draft or for a superstar.

I would also try to trade Jeff green and cj Watson to a playoff team who might be willing to trade a late first this year with a bad contract.

Then I'd run a lineup of elf, Jaylen brown, mario hezonja, Aaron gordon and bismack Biyombo. That lineup should make us lose more games and be a whole lot more fun to watch than the garbage we have seen so far this year.

Bostons 1st round pick is Brooklyns pick, as it is a swap

How about we getting the right to swap our pick for Brooklyn's? It's close in value, maybe #1 for #3 or something.

I would be down for that but I'm pretty sure boston wouldn't be but hey if they want to go for the championship this year they might do it.

Only way Boston moves that pick is if they are getting an elite talent in return. Jimmy Butler isn't even good enough to trade that pick for.

Obviously thats not the full story, he's our best perimeter defender, first guy off the bench that allows us to play our small ball lineup, which is one of the best in the NBA statistically. He'll have stretches where he averages double digit scoring on 40%+ from 3 while playing lockdown defense. he's good for 17&7 game here and there while putting the clamps on players like Lillard or Isaiah Thomas. Bball breakdown did a video on him if you don't believe me. so to point at 7ppg as an indicator of anything is little silly.

he has had a 17&7 game only once. i wouldnt call that a "hear and there"

i mean, he had better games than that, did you actually literally look up his 17&7 games? lol. He had a 19&9 and a couple 18 point games also. such a strange conversation.

well, you threw out 17&7 like it was a common occurrence. Just like you say he has had a couple of 18 pt games, when besides the one 19/9 game he has had one 18 pt game, not a "couple" of them.

Unless Raps let go on BOTH their 1st and filler for Ibaka or Powell and one of their 1st for Ibaka, he will be headed elsewhere. Thats his value and if TOR wont match it, some other team like HOU, POR, or BOS will. Raptors just dont have alot of good assets besides Powell. Everyone else is just kinda meh or average at best. Ross, Joseph, Fatty, Lucan is ok, etc are not worth the value of Ibaka.

I've been amazed at how much love some of those garbage Raptor trades are getting on the T&T Board. Raptors are giving up scraps and people are saying Orlando should be thrilled with it.

The Ibaka for Terrence Ross swap are my favorites  Can't blame them. As fans we are biased and overvalue our own guys and undervalue the rest since we dont watch these other prospects every game like our own players. Still some of those proposed trades are posted by somehow who is happy they just legalized medicinal use of cannabis lol.

my opinion is Boston would not trade brown, the nets pick or a swap for that package never mind some combo. That would be the steal of the century for the magic and its just real bad for years celts.

Feb 4. 10 points
Feb 6. 11 points 7 rebounds

Hezonja:
Oct 28. 13 points
Nov 9. 11 points
Dec 28. 10 points

We can just look at season averages. This isn't really deep diving. Vogel doesn't trust Hezonja, so Hezonja doesn't play. That doesn't mean we are going to give him away. I don't actually see any reason why Hezonja would be involved in an Ibaka deal. I don't find Oubre particularly appealing either. I'm glad that he is providing you guys some useful minutes.

For what it's worth, I think there is potential for a trade between these two teams. I don't think any team in the NBA would benefit as greatly from adding Ibaka as would Washington. I lived in the DC area for a couple years and watched quite a few games while there, so I have an affinity for the long-suffering fans of that franchise.

Oubre is showing the potential to be a very nice player for washington. I have been impressed with his play a lot lately.

The latest one didn't even have Ross. It was Patterson, some random euro big who's playing like 8mpg and then some heavily protected pick in 2019 or something.

We have legalized recreational use in Oregon and even I know that's crap lol.

Why not make is 4-way and toss in Steph for a protected 2nd rounder while you're at it.
