Cubs just got Jason Kendall!

Not adrenaline, just the fact that the catcher spot is the biggest hole we have in our lineup right now, and Kendall calls a great game.
This will be great for our pitching staff down the stretch, and I'm confident his bat will continue to come to life. .300 over his past 25 games, .286 in interleague play.
The NL will do him good, we'll replenish our farm system.

This is the kind of move that you make to win now, and until further notice, I think its a great move. The platoon of catchers we were relying on was not working, and more than anything, having Kendall's veteran presence behind the plate will do wonders for our pitchers.
