I think the Sixers are lying, not Embiid. Embiid thinks he can play just fine. He proved that vs Houston.

And I'm sorry but 1-30 and 4-18 were not "nothing."

Uh oh, Embiid is now lying apparently too. He is talking about his knee swelling up, and how he isn't healthy. Oh the tangled web we weave.

Wow what a legitimate statement. Wouldn't have nothing to do with him being seen dancing on stage. Total coincidence at the timing.

Wow guys, who cares? We aren't going to the playoffs and even if we did, we wouldn't be contenders. We'll have plenty of time to watch him play.

How is his statement any different than what BC and Brett Brown have been saying? He is just corroborating what that have been saying.

The evidence doesn't fit the statements. If he knee is swelling up, why is he doing all the drills in practice, running around, doing layups, dunks, etc? Shouldn't he be resting his knee and staying away from physical activities?

And if he doesn't think he's ready to play now, why did he think he was vs Houston? Mere days, not weeks, after he originally sustained the injury.

According to Bryan, he was asymptomatic so they let him play. Right. So a handful of days after a bone bruise, which is a 2-3 week injury he had zero swelling whatsoever, but 3-4 weeks after the injury he's getting swelling. It doesn't make any sense.

He's either covering up the fact that they made an idiotic decision in letting him play or they're lying now.

They definitely made an idiotic decision to let him play vs. HOU. They better not do something so stupid again with our franchise guy. Anyone could see he hyperextended his knee, then did it again vs. POR. He should have been shut down for 3 weeks after that.

As for now, they're doing the right thing. Shut him down until after the All-Star break. Helps with showcasing Oak and Noel before the deadline and helps with the tank also. Win win win.

He probably wanted to be on national TV, that's why he forced it to play against HOU.

I'm fine with that as Lon as they aren't pissing off Embiid. So help me, if they sour this guy on the organization and he wants out, that just might do it for me as a Sixers fan.

lol man we sure were wrong for asking questions. This organization has always been upfront and truthful about injuries. Maybe now people can learn to start questions things just a little bit.

I tried to tell Ericb, he wouldn't listen. Anyone who believes professionals or politicians at their word all the time is just asking to get burned. Half of their jobs is lying for a living.

You are taking evidence that proves you were wrong, and trying to use it to show that you were right.

Take the 'L' my brother, it's not the end of the world. I said they were lying, and they were lying. Bottom line. My only misstep was thinking my team who had treated Embiid with kid gloves the entire time would be smart enough to not let a guy with a torn meniscus practice, run, and jump.... oh, and play in the Houston game. I won't make that mistake again, but the fact that they were hiding something and/or lying was dead-on correct on my part, and many others who said as much.

Take the L?

You claimed that they were lying about him being injured, and you were wrong.

Regardless, I didn't call you out because I knew that you were wrong. I have no more knowledge of the details than you do.

I called you out because you fly off the handle constantly and immediately leap to the emotional hot takes, and then in complete hypocrisy were seen calling other people out for their hottakes, and denied that you ever have hot takes.

So you are the pot calling the kettle black. It's the knee jerk reactions, and the hypocrisy that I am calling out, and not any given hot take.

Now in complete delusion you see evidence that what you were charging them with just two days ago was wrong, and you believe that it validates you. This is pathological.
