They just reiterated that it was Marshall again.

Sounds like it was Kendall for Marshall straight up now.

LOL. So we trade a young starting pitcher from a catcher who will give us 2 years at best, and he won't even be THAT significant of an upgrade. Great.

I wanted Salty because I want my team to be like Minnesota or Atlanta, to know who your catcher is going to be for the next 10 years. I think if they really wanted to address the problem they could've taken Wieters in the draft. Instead we'll probably just have another group of mediocre catchers with those guys we picked.

Maybe we'll sign Yadier in FA.

Dempster is going to the rotation if this is true.

Strange how they could have the wrong players linked to the trade for an hour.

Two words: Ex-Pirates. I feel like its 2003 again, but this time we'll have better results.

But Marshall WAS helping us this year. There's no guarentee how Dempster will perform as a starter again.

If Robinson Cano got traded I am sure they would have had it right. They could care less about Chicago.

Moving Dempster back to the rotation just solidifies Marmol's eventual spot as closer.

ALL WILL BE WELL GRASSHOPPAS!

I think it is Bowen and Blevins for Kendall. Everywhere but ESPN is reporting this.

I kind of liked Sean Marshall. I don't know how to feel about this.

*edit*

IF ESPN turns out to be right. We shall see.

Last time Dempster was in any rotation he was an all-star.

Marshall is like a poor man's Rich Hill. Less velocity, less break on his curve.

He can be replaced. Who knows, maybe they'll make a run at Dontrelle or Contreras. I doubt the Cubs are done shopping. :P

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cubs brass changed their mind considering how well this team is doing and what COULD be.

Maybe BBTN was just getting confused because Marshall is scheduled to pitch tomorrow?

ESPN.com is reporting Bowen/Blevins.

Get it straight guys. Make up your minds.

... and there we go. Baseball Tonight corrects themselves.

IT IS Bowen/Blevins.
