Also hate to say this, but reading some of the GT on their board and man it's unreal. OKC fans should be embarrassed for Russ lol. Frankly Durant should be embarrassed he was guarding Robes. Some fans from GSW should be embarrassed they have to continually convince themselves this is the "hardest road". He's doing exactly what's expected of him, score a lot, and frankly I'm not impressed with great numbers. Good for him, I'm amazed sometimes that people think he's amazing because he plays next to a DPOY and MVP. It should be easy, must be tough to tell try to convince yourself your team has it tough sometimes.

In the end, proud of the guys for fighting, they played to their level. The opponent should have won by that much or more. They should do that to every team in the league. That's why the word is cupcake.

Were there any articles like this in similar cases like LeBron, Vince, Shaq, Dwight, etc? I certainly don't recall any articles saying "Poor Dwight, think of his feelings" when he came back to face back to face the Magic for the first time...

Stuff like that happens in soccer all the time and I've never seen an article how the poor star is unfairly booed and insulted at the game when he comes back to face his old team. Figo got a pig's head thrown at him and a bunch of bottles were thrown at him every time he took a corner when he came back to Nou Camp after he joined Real and the throwing was condemned by the media but IIRC he didn't receive nearly as much sympathy from the journalists as Durant is getting now.

In hindsight, that was probably just made up. Had to fit in with the 'He decided last minute' narrative. I firmly believe the decision was made months ago and he was just looking for a way to avoid scrutiny.
