He wasn't bad in his playing time for Memphis last year after they traded away half their team. He's a shooter for sure. Weber was his backup during that time.

I'm confounded by this whole thing.
First of all, why didn't the team pull Xavier Munford up? The guy was looking good in Swarm. Shooting 40% from 3. Performed well for MEM last spring. I understand Munford went to Europe but if CHA gave him a call up to the NbA you think he would have stayed?

Then McCallum? Honestly, his style of play is more like Sessions, not a 3 pt shooter. His jersey says DRIVE. Still, WHY CALL HIM UP IF YOU"RE NOT GOING TO PLAY HIM? when you've got a PG crisis? Really? Is the offense that hard to learn? McCallum's played for San Antonio before. You're gonna hurt Roberts' feelings? Seriously, I'm confounded.

Given how long Sessions is out seems like we'll probably get our answer.

If we don't trade for a PG and he doesn't get a second 10 day, then we just didn't like him. If he does get one, might be what you said.

If we trade for a PG, maybe we were praying that Roberts would show enough to make another team think he'd be worth trading for (i.e., he'd be playable, not like a real contributor to a playoff team).

Second 10-day will take us right to the deadline, so I'd assume we keep him. After that we'll have to decide whether to keep him all year.
