Refs have been terrible.

Feeling bad for russ tonight. He was terrible first quarter ( too many turnovers) but played very smartly the rest of the game.

Anyway, he will still sleep better than cupcake :)

Honestly? They fought hard in the second half. Proud of that. Couldn't really cut that deficit, but the heart was there.

Just not much they can do when the talent gap is that large. It's all on Presti now to actually do his job and find some NBA level players to help Russ, so he doesn't have to do literally everything on his own.

Good game everyone. Westbrook had a good game despite turnovers and the crowd was on fire most of the night. I wish you all the luck with your team and city. Here's to next time.

I wish Russ could be loaned to another team for the rest of the season and the playoffs. What I wouldn't give to send him to San Antonio to give him a shot to beat the Warriors. I don't know when this OKC team will be able to compete against that team, but San Antonio would be deadly with him there. He can come back after he wins the title :)

He'll be out after next year if they can't bring in some shooters. Can't see him playing out his prime with a bunch of guys who can't shoot or don't even belong in the league.

this cupcake post game interview was so unreal. So honest like always, like when he said that his relationship with russ is ''fake drama'' made by the media

To add insult to injury, this is what Durant's done to us in three games:

37.7 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.3 BPG, 65.5% FG, 65.2% 3P, 90% FT, 80.9% TS

He basically never misses, especially from three, and scores 38 PPG in the process.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

It was fun to see Russ torch him though

Meh, I mean they're legit the best team in history. I'd worry if this was against a bad team, but literally everyone is playing poorly simultaneously and they're missing the best bench scorer. I wanted to see the crowd go nuts. I did, and other than this am having a wonderful Saturday, won some cash, and the team overall isn't in a bad spot going forward. Pretty good tbh.

The team really isn't in a good spot going forward unless you think Cam/Grant/Abrines/ Roberson/Sabonis are all going to start shooting 40% from 3.

Everybody besides roberson all have the potential to become good to great (Abrines) 3 pt shooters and are all young as hell. You guys do realize you have to develop players and have patience with them right? Or did yall expect them to reach their prime in the first 3 months of an nba season

Yes, young as hell. We've heard that one before. Young doesn't make you skilled.

But young also means be patient. 3 out of the 5 there are all either rookies or first year in a new system. I don't know what you guys expected this season but that season was always a throwaway season for obvious reasons. Judge this team next year, nog this year. Give presti time to make the necessary moves. Westbrook knows this season was a wash. He didn't sign that extension last summer because we was winning a championship this year. He got faith in presti and we should too.

If we need to be patient with young guys, that means we aren't making any moves. Otherwise, our young guys need to be moved for guys that can contribute now. Abrines and Sabonis are the two young guys with potential. The more I watch Sabonis the more I think it will be a couple of years until he's a consistent, solid contributor. I have some concerns about Abrines' durability. I don't think Payne will develop. We have a small window with Russ.

We have about 5 years of Russ prime left. Russ knows the time line of the team, he knows about the young guys we have and is in practice with them everyday. You think Russ signs an extension knowing how the team is and he would have a problem with it? Russ would rather lose fighting as hard as he could with his young pups then be a Cupcake and go join a team that's not his. He knows he can legit build something legendary here and got nothing but love for the city here. He loves the young players here. Sabonis is a rookie and going through a slump right now.. All rookies do it. He barely has any room to operate because teams is just out right ignoring roberson and clogging the paint.

Once presti makes his moves and build the team more around Westbrook, you'll see him and more so Adams flourish

Which is fine, if you believe all of those guys are going to become good to great shooters then we're in a great spot. Being realistic only abrines and Domas have shown anything to believe they'll be good enough to be significant rotation players on a good team.

As much as I hated the result, I loved being in the arena booing the cupcake. My buddy and I were on SportsCenter too and Stephen A. proclaimed OKC as one of the best cities in America so I like Stephen A. plus he's not a KD fan!
