No offense (or should I say NO offense) but Mahinmi doesn't look like he can do either effectively right now. He looks terrible.

He has played, what, three full games (12 minutes apiece) since returning from 2 1/2 months off? He was an effective starting center for Indiana last year. I'd give him at least 10 games before I'd star crowning him a bust.

Mahinmi will look very different come playoff time. Hopefully he helps us in another month or so, but I don't think we expect much for the next few weeks.

It's all about D. The bench will get skimpier in the playoffs. He'll use a nine-man rotation if you are going against Dwight, Tristan Thompson, Al Horford, Andre Drummond, etc., I'd like to think Gortat can use some help with Mahinmi. We can't look for him to score if we have Morris and the other decent assets. Unfortunately, I think we have to add at least one or if not two more guards or a wing.

Grunfeld as GM of the year is becoming a reality.

It is so infuriating because it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM. The players making the difference are Wall, Beal and Porter, and all 3 were picks that were largely locked into place due to slotting. Everything he actually had to think about, like who to take in the '11 draft, who to take after Wall, how to spend his '16 FA money, whether the roster was fine and to sell 2nd rounders, every single last one of those, you know, the one's that required thought, ingenuity, insight, creativity, yep all of them he blew, across the board. Nice try though.

It's like saying Ryan Grigson was a genius because the Colts made the playoffs in 2012. Just absurd.

I do miss Scott Brooks and he received a nice ovation when the Bullets/WIzards were in OKC earlier this year. On a brighter note, how about those Nuggets!
