Okay, jeez, really sorry for slowing us down guys, agonized way too long over this. I've gotta go with my gut here over my brain. I know better than this, I know it'll be almost impossible to build a great defense or a passable bench after this selection. I don't care. I can't help myself. Give me:

Clyde the Glide. Can you imagine Magic/Clyde/Karl on the run? I may struggle on the other end of the court but those three alone guarantee I have an insane and almost un-guardable offense. Might be a reach, might be poor FGA management but I told myself I wanted to make a splash early and make sure I have enough offensive firepower in this one. I think I've done that to say the least.

(On phone so no pictures, sorry).

I was initially looking to grab a certain big man here, but I'm going to save my FGA a little longer. I also think the PG position is quite depleted for who could fit next to MJ. First, I'm going to pick Tony Parker, as I really like his fit with MJ. My next pick is going to be a one year college teammate of MJ. Give me James Worthy.

Picks:
Tony Parker
James Worthy

Yeah this is the right pick.

Image

Andrei Kirilenko. Great defender which we definitely need, fairly economical (might even take his early 8 FGA season,) which we need, can get out and run the floor which we want, and a good fourth option offensively. I'm a fan of this guy and have also never had him so that's cool, also like the idea of re-pairing him with Karl who's last season with the jazz was andrei's second irl.

dame taking AK makes this pick much easier....

Pau Gasol between Hill and Shaq will be extremely fun, his passing and shooting is also great.

Wanted to go Kirilenko here initially, but I'm pretty happy with Harden. Harden-Ray-KD-Dwight has the makings of an elite offense that fits together very well

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Wasn't sure he'd survive the swing last night - very pleased he's there. With KG, Clyde, and Doc I'm liking this defense.

Patrick Ewing

I will probably regret this, but I'll have Kevin Love.

This is tough. There's a pretty good chance this guy is going to be available to me at the end of round with my next pick, but he's just too important to my overall plans to even remotely risk not getting. He will start at shooting guard next to Stock but also take over running the offense when Stockton is out.

Brandon Roy.

Image

Time to complete my own big 4. Brandon Roy is a great fit at shooting guard next to Stockton, at the young age of 24 he was the core offensive piece to the best offense in the game, and had 13.6 win shares in the chosen season. Love his fit with the rest of what I have, assures that I will have a formidable offense.
