Re: 25 and under Fantasy Draft - Draft Thread
Everyone seems to be building top-heavy squads. I was legitimately considering this guy with my second pick, but am thrilled to grab him here. He costs a pretty penny with 17.6 FGA, but damn was he good. I'll choose Anthony Davis to be my starting center and second scoring option to Michael. Elite 2way player. I'm on my phone and have class starting now so no picture and can someone quote the next guy please?

Going with Al Horford. Love his fit with either big and ability to play both spots. I'll worry about a SF later.

Re: 25 and under Fantasy Draft - Draft Thread
Ugh this is really tough as I don't pick again for some time and I'm really not sure which of my primary targets will slip through next round and which won't. I guess I'll get what's probably most important and hardest to replace, an elite 3&D wing for single digit FGAs. Give me:

Danny Green. Said it all, already. Makes over two 3s per game at a 43% clip, plays strong D. His peak 14-15 season is not available but he was no slouch in 12-13 and costs only 8.3 FGA. Yeah, I hope my other guy slips to me but I'm glad to get this dude now.

Mike Conley, his earlier years he's the perfect point guard for my team, great defensively, great off the ball, great IQ, absolutely solid all around and glad to have him on my team

I'm gonna go with Bill Laimbeer here. Great defensive big with a nice jumpshot. Can play next to Dwight and keep the defense formidable when Dwight sits.

A bit expensive at this stage but I'm struggling to find a better option here.

Looks like a run on wings.
Eddie Jones
A floor spacer and another elite defender to go with Ewing, KG. Doc and Clyde. Woot!

1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Re: 25 and under Fantasy Draft - Draft Thread
With my first selection I choose Nate McMillain.
His all- defensive recognition didn't come until later, but the metrics show that at the age of 24 he was already a comparable defensive player- just not one particularly recognized.
Stockton/Roy is a tour-deforce offensively, both can shoot and both are extremely effective in their own ways offensively, all I really demand from my third guard is size and the ability to guard both guard positions. This guy works for me.

With my second pick I choose Nic Batum.
Great all round player, gives me shooting, defense, some playmaking. Great wing tandem with Roy and gives me enough size to man up against the larger small forwards in these games.

Going with Detlef Schrempf to complete my forward rotation with Artest/Odom. Taking him shortly before his back-to-back 6th man awards, when he was performing at a comparable level and only putting up 6.9 FGA.

Re: 25 and under Fantasy Draft - Draft Thread
I was planning to wait on this guy but I realize I don't have a back up plan and can't pass up adding a MVP to my team. I honestly don't know how this guy isn't drafted every game as a MVP for less than 10 FGAs. One of the best rebounders and passers of all-time will fit perfectly at center for me.

Yeah... Got very few FGA, but this guy is great for the role he'll be in.
