Re: C-Mac - The Chris McCullough Thread
If the staff feels he's not ready physically for a 20-30 games of NBA minutes, keep him in the DL. If they think he's ready, let him play. he needs to test himself against legit pros.
Dinwiddie is living proof that D-League numbers mean jack ****. Dinwiddie looked like a god in the d league and in the NBA he plays like crap

He actually set a half-decent pick at :53. Progress! (I'm not even joking...well, sort of.)

Re: C-Mac - The Chris McCullough Thread
He should finish out the season, however I don't think he needs anymore time down in the d-league. C-Mac isn't lacking confidence. He is lacking guidance. He needs to learn that it is a battle on the real court and not just a game. He needs some of Booker's intensity to rub off on him.

I honestly feel that CM is better than Scola and J-Ham already. I hope to see him get more minutes during the last 26 games left. He needs minutes in the NBA to get better IMO.

i dont think he is better then either. or even has business being on an NBA floor yet. he needs to add significant muscle and more impotantly he needs to get over his toughness issues. he is really soft to the point where he is scared of contact
dleague he is good, because there is no size. he is sometimes the biggest guy on the floor.
he has a long way to go

If you thought Hamilton and Scola were bad defensively, McCullough is worse. He's bottom 15 in defensive rating in the entire D-League. As a comparison, Hamilton was on the All Defensive First Team when he played in D-League. There's times where McCullough just gets completely lost defensively, even with his length and athleticism.
They need to put him on the Thon Maker 7,000 calories a day diet too tho. I need to see him indulging in the dope Barclays Center food or something when he's on the bench for the Nets, because he gets pushed around way too much on both ends.

Re: C-Mac - The Chris McCullough Thread
Wizards have declined his option. Would we want him back? How could we get him back? I know we have to create a roster spot. But is he FA next season? or RFA?

McCullough can't play.
No point in wasting a roster spot on him. He'll be in China next year.

We can sign him outright but it sounds like he sucks and hasn’t developed much in Washington. I don’t see any chance of a reunion.

Re: C-Mac - The Chris McCullough Thread
Thanks guys. I just didn't know deep down if he had been given a fair chance. It seems you guy's believe he has. Kenny and Marks love a renovation project. I thought he might of been worth the risk. 6'11 shooters don't grow on trees.

I like him and would give him a shot if we can fit him in somewhere.

Re: C-Mac - The Chris McCullough Thread
They could bring him back to LI Nets if they really wanted to give him a last chance to show something.
