No thanks to Drummond. I basically don't want anyone shooting lower than 70% on freethrows, no matter how good. I don't think you can win if you don't punish the other team for fouls and make your freethrows. And like someone else said, what's the point of having a guy you absolute can't play in crunch time? Have someone that is slightly less good but available all game.
Besides, I hate watching players brick freethrows. It's almost aggravating.

I haven't paid attention to him recently, but Drummond seems like an ideal addition to this team.

If Detroit does move drummond im very curious to see what they get. I imagine his worth really varies from one gm to another. Some probably see him as a cornerstone guy and others probably want no part in him. Im kind of in the middle. I think hes a talented dude and if in the right situation could be good but hes certainly flawed and i wouldnt give up a huge package for him.

It might make sense. Good long-term contract, only 23. The key is getting him without giving up a draft pick, Booker, Bender, Chriss, Ulis, DJJ or Bledsoe. We have valuable pieces. Maybe there are first rounders out there that could get it done.

I'm just about as happy moving forward with Len instead and just keeping whatever Chandler, Tucker, Barbosa, Dudley or Knight could fetch on the market.

Personally I think SVG is the true fraud. He still over manages and screws with his players heads. The only NBA job I think he's fit for is coaching the Lakers.

Philly still can't move Okafor.

If we can get him for our misfits (Knight/Len) or even a combo of our misfits and Tucker (involving a 3rd team), then we better do it.

There is no better bargain on the market right now.

-Rookie contract
-Great low post scorer
-True Center
-Defensive potential
-Better then Len

He could absolutely break out with a new team and new environment.

I don't get the "great low post scorer" label that is so often applied to him? Maybe he would be if he only took the smart shots but he doesn't let a little thing like a triple team keep him from forcing up shots. In fact, rookie contract is the only one of your "selling points" that I'd fully agree with. I'd probably take a gamble on him if he's available at a discount but if Philly is demanding value anywhere near equal to his top 3 draft status, no way.

I think I would have changed one more thing: Great low post scorer when single covered.
