I bet I was right, those idiots saw Marshall was scheduled to pitch tomorrow (likely with Kendall behind the plate), and got themselves all confused.

Way to go Baseball Tonight. Why would you ever want to verify the terms of a trade before reporting it?

Bums.

...still a good show :) ....

This is one of those moves where you have to go with your gut and hope for the best.

A great move, regardless of whatever the schleps at ESPN have to say about it.

The things I like about Kendall is he has traditionally been a good OB% player...kind of a veteran win now move...hopefully a change of scenery revitalizes him for the year. He could help out our poor play against LHP as his history has been very good against lefties (though he has been terrible this year). Has been hitting decent since June 1st.

Negatives...no power...getting at the age when catchers typically rapidly decline...who knows if he has anything left...I guess we will find out.

I think it is a good move...we gave up little to nothing and I think he has a better shot to perform than what we had behind the plate.

I am happy with this trade. I was not very fond of Rob Bowen and that minor leaguer is a relief pitcher so I don't see him becoming a star or anything.
Hopefully this works out for us.

You might have been showing some Kendall "love" but you went about it in a dumb way, IMO.
