Browns 2017 Offseason

Post#1 » by Mind_Odyssey » Tue Feb 14, 2017 5:14 am

Myles Garrett is a lock to go #1 overall. Some other tidbits I read:

*Browns are prioritizing Tyrod Taylor as their #1 free agent target.
*Trumaine Johnson is their #2 target.
*Browns and more specifically Hue Jackson haven't given up on Josh Gordon.
*Patriots want a 1 + 4 for Jimmy G.
*At pick 12 Cleveland is targeting OJ Howard / Solomon Thomas / Johnathan Allen. Not a shocker.
*Browns want to sign 3 safeties in free agency.
*Don't expect a heavy investment into the offensive line because the Browns want playmakers.

I think the Browns coaching staff should watch and learn every play that the N.E. Patriots did for the past 10 yrs. There has to be something with that team that keeps winning all the time. Now if the Browns can some how adopt the Patriots play scheme, maybe we can win games.

I hope they trade down at 12. Do we really need 3 safeties?

I noticed that the Browns cut Darius Jackson. Anyone got any word on what's up with his knee? Severity?

That was a surprise cut to me honestly. He fit the mold of high SPARQ score players we like.
