I think I'd at least do the first three. Probably not the 4th though.

I can see the Thunder making an offer for PJ, but I'm not sure what the Thunder might be willing to trade. I don't no if the Stepien rule precludes them from trading their '17 #1...their #1 is owed to Utah (15-30) next year. I don't think they'd trade the 2017 "1" anyway. They won't have a 2nd round pick this year. Both the Suns and Thunder are under the cap, so swapping PJ for a player wouldn't be very difficult, but I don't know their lesser known "parts" well enough to guess who fits the bill.

If we are unable to get a 1st for PJ Tucker, than I'd trade him for Shabazz Muhammad if the Wolves are still interested. Warren is still too inconsistent for me and I'd like to see what Bledsoe/Booker can do with more space as Bazz can spread the floor.

I heard the rumors of Philly wanting Holiday for Okafor, and Pelicans want to add one of their craptastic contracts in return. Well if the Sixers want, I'd still offer them Knight for Okafor.

No way I want to trade for Drummond and his 22M salary unless the Pistons are willing to do that trade for Knight straight up with maybe a lottery-protected 1st rounder from us (apparently the trade works b/c we're so far under the cap).

As someone mentioned, his stat line looks better than his real-world impact. That combined with him being more of an old-school center in today's NBA, I would rather have Len (presumably around 12-13M per year).

Indy says they are not trading George and are firmly in the playoff picture.

Jazz are a top 4 or 5 seed and they won't trade Hayward with this playoff push and exciting team. Had they not been injured to start season they would have quite a bit better record.

Sacramento has said they want to give Cousins the huge max he is eligible for and indications are Cousins will take it. With a shot at the playoffs, he won't be traded before the deadline with so many games left.

Some some realistic trades might be good to see.

Would do the first yesterday - and immediately waive Corey - he would find a playoff team

The second isn't bad -
third - pretty darn good - and not sure if I keep Sullinger

4th one - can we take on Ezeli for a first rounder instead

Shabazz is horrid defensively. We NEED defense, which is the one reason I wouldn't mind keeping Tucker. But I still think some guys will improve, and maybe we get a Josh Jackson in the draft. I think Isaac is a pretty good defender as well.

4. Jonathan Isaac
Forward, Florida State, freshman (6-foot-10, 210 pounds)
(Last ranked: 5)
From Tjarks in December:
At the age of 19, he has shown the ability to defend multiple positions, shoot the ball, put it on the floor, create for himself and others, rebound, and protect the rim. His skill set would allow him to fit on almost any team in the lottery, and a player with his combination of size, shooting ability, and athleticism makes for a useful NBA player, even if he never develops any further.

As for Muhammad, check out his comparison with T.J. Warren defensively under Advanced Stats at the bottom on the right (DBPM)

All the Blazers owe Ezeli is the remainder of his '16-'17 pay (3M?) then 1M payoff by June 30th...doubt that $$ relief is enough value for them to surrender the Memphis pick.

EDIT: Maybe the Cleveland pick, but still seems doubtful to me.

I would love to get Drummond, but his value is probably too high.

I dont understand how people can just flat out reject the idea of Drummond. Obviously theres a value line with what to give up, but to just say we'd rather have Len regardless is way out of left field for me.

I wouldn't mind him depending on costs, but I am not sure I'd want to give up major assets for him. I would probably prefer him if we didn't have to give up major assets than gutting our team with one of these more major stars that likely won't be trading anyway.

I'd probably have to dive into his #s a bit more though and look at his rim protection and defense. I know he's a monster rebounder.

Gross. I would have a hard time following the Suns next year if that trade happend.

Yeesh, that trade would be one of the worst ever. EVER.

I'd give up Len and our 2017 1st for him easily. Especially if we arent moving Bledsoe which I dont think we are. None of the bigs coming out are in Drummonds league.

We are already one of the worst teams in the league so I don't care too much about our defense at this point, I simply want to see what Booker/Bledsoe can do with a wing that can spread the floor. I think it opens up their game more because the defense has to respect Bazz's ability to shoot. If we really want we can ask for Tucker back in free agency.

That's fine but that horrid defense under Thibs is unlikely to get better, so I don't like that. TJ is still coming back to what he can be. Plus, unless we get the #1 pick, I expect us to go with JJ or Isaac.

Bazz is a horrendous player on offense. I don't care that he shoots the 3 ball well when he is abysmal at nearly every other offensive thing across the board. If Bazz is all we could get for Tucker (nobody will give a late 1st or early 2nd), then so be it, but I would hate this trade if either a good 2nd or a late 1st or another young player is on the table.

Who says we have to draft a big. This pick is likely going to be a PG or Josh Jackson. I wouldn't trade any of the top 3 PGs or Jackson for him. We are not at a point where we should be passing up BPA for need. I like Drummond, but the fact is the team he is on plays defense better without him, which is a problem for a guy who isn't an offensive force and cannot shoot FTs. He is the best rebounder in basketball, but he needs to turn it up in a major way defensively to have real value. He should be a better rebounding Deandre, but instead I don't know what he is. Probably a more effective Tyson Chandler of today (not DPOY Chandler), and that isn't worth a top 3 pick in this draft imo.

I like Drummond as a player, but I wouldn't give up our pick this year for him even if he's a very good player at a position we're not overly strong at. McDonough is trying to build a positionally versatile team that can switch all over and defend comfortably, and Drummond is very far from that. I'll take Fultz, Lonzo, or Jackson and call it a day.
